Have you ever wanted to be a spectacular quarterback? Have you ever wanted to lead your team to a Super Bowl and hold the prestigious Lombardi Trophy? Well, that is going to be one of the hardest things possible. There are a number of things that would be helpful on at least getting drafted to a team, but to be great quarterback takes more than anyone truly knows. You may think football is simply running around and throwing a ball, but that doesn’t even begin to describe the finesse and challenge of the NFL.
First up, you need to be inspired by somebody. Without being inspired, there is no reason to take up football. “When you speak of role models, when we talk to our kids, everybody is a role model, everyone, just as you look at a Michael Jordan to be the terrific athlete he is.” ( Walter Payton, Hall of Famer Running back.) Payton was right when he said this. Anyone can inspire you, so you need to be inspired by someone, which is the easy part, and start picking up a football.
Then, you need to be young. Your youth is a great place to start, and there is no way to get into the NFL, unless you are drafted. How do you get drafted? First you need to be exceptional in high school football, then go to college football, and then be acceptable enough to be drafted. But you will be a backup to the backup. This is an incredibly hard spot to start, if you want to be at least reliazed.. You really need to prove yourself in practices. Also, youth brings many learning opportunities by the pros. “My rookie year was huge for me as far as the learning curve, especially those last three games.” ( Tim Tebow, NFL Quarterback). Tebow may be a horrible quarterback, but he learned from Denver’s Peyton Manning, and that would be valuabl...

... the best. But they couldn’t be more wrong. There is more that goes into it that will fit in a legal sentence. When most people just say football is 30 guys running around on a field, and throwing a ball and tackling the guy with the ball. But if you really ponder it and try an actual league, then things get a whole lot harder. So I wish you young readers luck and to remember to “just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game.” (Michael Jordan, Hall of Famer Basketball player)

Montana’s career statistics lag behind some of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time, but Montana won more championships than QBs such as Bret Favre, John Elway and Peyton Manning. Out of four Super Bowl appearances, Manning only won two. While Manning was under center for Super Bowl 50, he had little impact on the game’s outcome. On the other hand, Montana had a big impact on the outcome in each of his four Super Bowl

Playing football comes with several risks factors that players’ acknowledge prior to playing the game starting a young age. Regardless, these players still chose to play the game, which they end up loving and cherishing despite all the risks accompanied with it. Football is one of the toughest sports in the world; it takes a certain amount of strength, speed, and aggressiveness to play 48 minutes of hard-nosed football. However, the National Football League (NFL) is in the midst of a controversial issue. Is the NFL getting soft? This has been a debatable issue for several years. While some believe that implementing all these rules in the NFL is progressively turning the game soft, others say that the NFL is not getting soft; it is just trying to make the game safer for its players.
The quarterback (QB) is the undisputed on-field leader of a football team. As such, it is the QB that the team and the fans turn to with the game on the line. Some QB’s embrace the challenge and excel, others falter and fall on their faces. Joe Montana was a QB who embraced those moments and not only excelled, but excelled above all others.
In college there are hated rivals that can’t stand each other. This causes college fans to have lots of pride in their teams. College stadiums also have student sections, which take the atmosphere on game day to the next level. College players know how the fans feel. This inspires them to play their hardest, and leave everything on the field to represent their school. In the NFL, instead of playing for a team because you want to represent them, players will play for teams who offer them the longest and largest contracts. Players hold out from participating in training camp because they want a bigger contract, and some even sit out games. The NFL seems to be more like a business, and geared towards making money. NFL players holding out, and being focused on money angers fans. Not all players are like this, but fans feel that the ones like this are being
...y would argue that no other quarterback will be able to ever match his level of success. Even though he was interested in other sports as a young boy, it is crystal clear that he was supposed to play football. At six feet five inches and 230 pounds, we can assume that he would be a formidable opponent in any sport; but looks don't count. Actions are what count, and Peyton has certainly delivered in that department.
One of my future careers are being a NFL player (professional football player) I want to be this because it’s fun and you can hit and tackle people the responsibilities are show respect for team policies and understand your role. If you want to have a good work environment then you have to be on a good team or you have to be really good so you can buy a better work environment. If you want to play football you have to go to college for two or three years or maybe more. The average
The 49ers up until last year have had the best superbowl record out of any team that has ever played in a superbowl they were a astonishing 5-0. For the longest time SanFrancisco was known as the team that doesn’t loose superbowls. In the five superbowls that the 49ers have won they have outscored all 5 of their opponents by 99 points. The 49ers have scored 188 points in their five superbowl victories and have only given up 89 points. Only three teams in the NFL have won five or more superbowls out of all 32 teams in the NFL. 14 teams in the League have not won one super bowl, the Vikings, Bills, Bengals, Eagles, Chargers, Falcons, Titans, Panthers, Seattle, Arizona, Browns, Jaguars, Texans, and the Lions. While 14 have ...
When my coach told me those nail biting words I had been waiting to hear for months, I was crushed and confused. My coach told me, "you're not big enough to play at this level". I was as talented as anyone else on the team, but because of my size I was characterized as incapable of playing. I took a step back and looked at the big picture. I knew there was a reason those words were said to me and from that exact moment I decided to change my life around. I was a standout player both my freshman and sophomore year and I was finally called up to play at the varsity level my junior year. I was one of the strongest players on the team and led the team to a district appearance for the first time in years. For the past couple of years, those words my coach told me have stayed in my head. It has determined me to work harder than anyone else not only on the field but off the field as
For as long as I can remember football has been a part of my life in some way, shape, or form. When I was first born my grandfather said that I was solid and built to play football. I used to throw the football with my mother when I was a toddler and she always told me that when I tried to tackle her I hit really hard. My first organized football experience was when I was five. I had just moved to Manassas, VA from Washington, D.C. in 1994. It was around fall and that was right at the beginning of football season in the area. I remember telling my mother that I wanted to play, so she looked for a local organization for children. She came across the Greater Manassas Football League (GMFL) and that is where I began to play the game I love.
The training and practices required to play professional football are intense. You have to wear uncomfortable pads and helmets and endure grueling practices in the heat of the summer and you have to lift weights every day (Green 174). You have to train no matter what position you play. What’s important about is how the position works and how it contributes to the game.
