Keeping a car clean and washing it on a regular basis is important, but to keep a car looking show case nice, you need to wax and polish it every few months. Sure everyone can have a clean car, but what really makes it stand out will be the shine it will have after a good touch up and giving it that new-car look back to it. There is a saying that goes like this “a car is only as clean as the owner”, so why not make a good first impression pulling up to a scene and showing off that hard earned money invested into a luxury ride.
First of all, the car should be clean and dry before there’s any sort detailing going on. The car should be washed in a clean environment to avoid any dirt particles getting it on it after its wet. Soap and water will

Clay is used to remove deep ground-in dirt and stains without damaging the car's fresh coat. To keep newer cars with clear-coat paint, it’s vital for clay to be used on them. Clay works wonders on models with the new style of paint. Claying can be time consuming but the vehicle will appreciate it in the long run. One way to start is by spraying the areas with spray on detailer then sliding the clay back and forth to make the clay grabs everything it needs. The clay mainly pulls of the dirt and unnecessary particles that the car has on the coat. There's one major issue: Don't drop the clay! Not dropping the clay will keep off any dirt that will the scratch the car if used. If dropped a new clay will most likely be needed. The detailer that will be sprayed on the car makes things slick, be sure to be careful. Once the claying process is done, the car should look and feel smoother but not so much as to where the waxing will do. Clay removes both dirt and wax, so there’s a chance of rewaxing after claying. If the car's finish is in good shape, using a combined polish/wax product will be ideal, and after the finish, if the coat is still looking rough, a double polish/wax is preferred to even out the paint. Polish smooth’s, clarifies, and cleans the surface of the vehicle. Polishing is one the important steps in detailing the car. It will remove small scuffs and scratches, but if polishing by hand, light pressure is desired for this. If not careful, heavy pressure can and will remove the paint. It’s preferred to do one side of the vehicle at a time so the polish won’t be sitting on too long. After applying the polish to either the right or left side, let it dry then be sure to immediately wipe off the left over polish. This prevents the polish from sticking to the paint too much. Repeat the same process on the other side. Waxing the vehicle should be more enjoyable and easier due the
There was once a time when people would get up on a Saturday morning, go into the garage, and tinker with their car, everything from a basic oil change and a tune up, to replacing the cylinder heads, and everything in between. It was a rite of passage for young boys to follow dad into the garage and have some good quality father/ son time, or it was a few friends getting together for an afternoon of friendship and camaraderie. It was a simpler time and a simpler car. Today, times have changed. Modern cars are now so complex that a person needs specialized training and tools to do the repairs; however, the “Shadetree Mechanic” is not extinct yet.
Besides the text and the car matching, the colors also match the color of the companies logo. These colors are carefully chosen to make the car look sleek, elegant and pleasing to the
Another interesting aspect of the film is the ambiguity of the man polishing the car. The shots are all done very carefully, so that the man’s face is never seen until the very end of the short. At one point it goes to a close up of the body being buffed, with a fairly revealing reflection of the man, but not his face.
...ist must keep his tools scrupulously clean. The brushes are dipped and wiped throughout the painting session with brush cleaner to keep from contaminating colors with residue from previous paint. Use a beater rack to remove excess thinner from brushes after cleaning them.
Owning a car is usually a significant investment for an individual. Changing the oil on your car plays an important part to help keep it functioning at peak performance and to ensure that your vehicle last for many miles. You might wonder how often does the oil need changing. Well, manufactures advise that the oil is changed every 3,000 miles or every three months, whichever occurs first. Changing the oil is not an extremely difficult task, but it is always good to have someone else there, who has done this before, to help if needed. I would also suggest finding an outfit you wouldn’t mind getting dirty and a pair of rubber gloves to keep your hands clean.
Let it dry for 24 hours and use a new rag to buff the leather. Buffing will help eliminate any residue and polish the surface. You can opt to use a leather sheen for a shiny look.

I know how this experience feels. My first car was a blue 1994 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I loved that car. I would pamper it with the best gas, the best oil; and I would wash it once a week. I would go everywhere with my car.
I started with the body. I knocked out the ding and sanded down all of the rust, and replaced the rusted out fenders. It was a lot of hard work, but I didn’t give up. I di...
The Car Wash industry began to start and grow across the U.S. after the conclusion of World War II. America’s economic rebirth and prosperity created a boom in the housing and automobile industry. What began as a business to satisfy Americans’ love of the automobile has grown over the past several decades into an international industry. From washing one’s car in the driveway with a water hose and bucket of soapy water, to the do-it-yourself, unattended coin operated high-pressure wand locations, to today’s professional car washing businesses which feature complex automatic equipment and technological systems to wash cars more safely and effectively than ...
When one goes to buy a used car they should look for some key things,
...shown on TV, in theaters, social networking sites, websites, and billboards. The present day automobiles ads are promoting not only the basics of the care but most of all, these ads are marketing a lifestyle. At present, image is very important and having the right car would definitely boost the image that one intends to project.
In the automotive world you normally get what you pay for. Dealerships are expensive, just about everywhere is, but maybe they are for a reason. I have since learned that reason, but I realize it is difficult for other people to see it. I do not understand how you justified that the quality or your car is somehow “worth” what you paid, but to fix it quality just is not important, the “worth” part disappears?
Millions of people own and drive cars, but many of those people go through their whole lives not knowing anything about how to fix or notice the minor details of their cars. Every now and then they shell out hundreds, or even thousands of dollars to take their cars to get fixed for small things. If they were to able to take a little of their time and much less money, they could easily take care of some things themselves. A few of these problems include the following: the charging system, oil changes, and fluid levels.
First, one should make sure they have the appropriate personal protective equipment for the job prior to starting the check-up. When working on a car, proper dressing is crucial first; batteries consist of sulfuric acid that is corrosive when it comes into contact with a person’s skin. It may be lethal, when in the process of checking the battery, the acid gets into one 's eyes as this may mark the genesis of life of blindness. One 's clothing needs protection too, as sulfuric acid is not only corrosive to the human skin, but it also causes wear and tear in clothes. To prevent all this from happening, it is good that one wear certain protective gear such as an apron, gloves, and safety
