How is Racism in A Raisin in the Sun. In the book there is a lot of racism that made them people separate from each other. Their was nothing that made the people be together but work. This was a big problem and still is because people treat others by their race. Racism will always exist wile people think in different ways it may change in one of the days if people change their minds. Racism isn’t only about black people but even people from different continents or with different religions. In the book A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry’s the Youngers suffered from many thing. The thing that will be mentioned are how are black people treated what things did they suffer from and how was their society like.
How are the black people treated in A Raisin in the Sun? The black people in this story are treated in different from others. Walter tells his mom about what white people do in the restaurants “Mama sometimes when I’m downtown and I pass them cool quiet looking restaurants where them white boys are sitting back and talking about things sitting there turning deals worth millions of dollars”(Hansberry58). This quote shows that the white people are living in good situations and that they aren’t worrying about what will they eat when they get hungry like the blacks. The difference between the blacks and the whites is so big wile the whites are working the blacks are just doing something to have fun. Walter is blaming the people from his by the way the live “Why? You want to know why? ‘Cause we all tied up in a race of people that don’t know how to do nothing but moan, pray and have babies”(114). While other people are thinking about their future they are thinking about getting kids and other normal that wont help them in life....

If it was a white person suffering like this he will get help from someone but because of the racism going on no one help them. Beneatha is frustrated because they have no money to pay he colege “I mean it! I’m just tired of hearing about God all the time. What has He got to do with anything? Does he pay tuition?” (153). Benethat had hope before Walter lost all the money they got from the assurance but now she has nothing to do she cant fin a medical school that will pay her tuition. She was unrespectfall to god because of money that means that money means a lot to them and in her situation their is no one helping her. As you say in this paragraph that money is the only thing that chged their life after owning money for their fatheirs assurance the lost all of it.
