Recommended: How to train a puppy essay

Once you adopt a just born puppy, it's your duty to train the puppy to walk on a leash. This training skill is significant for both of you. After the training of puppy to walk on a leash, they can be left alone as they are safe and manageable. The walk on a leash becomes your routine schedule and both of you would experience a new world. In my experience, it's easy to train a puppy than re-training an older dog.
If you follow the below snaps, then you will be clicking the snaps of puppy on leash training session within a couple of weeks. If the puppy takes more time, don't get panic and loose hope that your puppy will not walk on a leash.
Don't expect to know this stuff:

Fix the collar while the puppy intakes the food or in the playtime, these would be the better distractions from the collar. The puppy will try to dislodge the collar by rolling or will scratch the collar. When the puppy does this negative behaviour please don't remove the collar. Wait till the puppy calms down and settles to the collar.
Step-2:
Once the puppy is comfortable with the new collar, it's time to fix the leash. Repeat the same trick which is used for the collar, make him comfortable with a leash. Make sure that the puppy must not be afraid of a leash and him used to leash. Light weighted, thin leash is suitable for puppies.
