How Religion Has Impacted Your Life

In February of 2014, little did I know my life would be forever changed with a simple invitation to church, I had no idea as to the impact it would have on my life, and is still currently impacting my life. I had very limited religous experience, I knew the basis that there was a God, He did exisit. However, I did not know what any of this meant, God was simply not a part of my life. I was extened an invitation to come to a Sunday morning service at River City Fellowship in Gallipolis, my aunt had asked me to join her as her husband was a good friend of the of the pastor John O'brien. I have since accepted God as my savior, I was baptized in His name, and I also become a member of River City Fellowship. This may sound like it was quick and as if I had not thought things through but I knew this was God, it felt right, I felt complete, these decisions were altimately the best decions i would make in my life thusray that I continue to grow stonger, more spirtually intellectual, and to become the best person I can be through God. …show more content…

We are truely blessed to have him pastor and lead our church. John has baptized me, and he indcuted me as a new member to our church as well as the others who had joined at the time I completed the memberdship class. John is a very real and down to earth person. John is not only a spiritual advisor to many, but a friend that many of us are so very blessed to have. Im a firm believer that everything happens for reason, this is Gods will. God places people in our lives for a reason, I feel John is one of them God has placed into my life, I also believe it was Gods will that led me to River City
