Larry Page and Sergey Brin are the ones who started it all and founded Google. Larry Page was born in Michigan in 1973 and his parents were computer experts. Just like his parents, Larry became a computer engineer and studied at Stanford University where Page would go on to met Sergey Brin. Together they developed a search engine that listed results according to the popularity of the pages, calling the search engine, ‘Google.’ Larry’s father, Carl Page, was a pioneer in computer science and artificial intelligence, and his mother was an expert in and taught computer programming. Maternity leave is a controversial debate that has been discussed for many years and continues to this day being a controversial issue. There is one side that argues that women have a right for leave of absence in order to bond with the baby and recuperate physically. On the other side there is the argument that companies take a financial hit. Both sides provide valid points for being pro maternity leave or against it, but one must take into consideration the long-term impacts these positions have. Maternity leave is necessary not only for emotional development but also for economical productivity in the long run.

In todays world, women are expected not only to raise their children, but also earn money for their family in the workforce. Most countries ensure that pregnant women are given paid maternity leave. Only two countries do not carry this policy, Papua New Guinea and the United States (Wares). He began studying computers in the seventh grade at Seattle’s Lakeside School, which was a private school chosen by his parents in hopes of challenging his curiosity and intellect. Gate’s early experience with computers included debugging them, helping computerize electric power grids, and founding with Allen a firm called Traf-O-Data.
