Text to Text: What I just read in the book is similar to Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, because both Harry Potter, and Percy Jackson were trying to protect a precious object and also they both didn’t know about an ability they had before. Percy didn’t know about him doing stuff like breathing underwater, getting healed from water, and other things. Harry Potter didn’t know he could do magic, ride a broom, and other wizard stuff. Percy was trying to protect a thing called the lightning rod that Zeus, the greek sky god, used. Harry potter was trying to protect the Sorcerer's Stone, which is a thing that can make the elixir of life, and make metal turn into gold.

Text to Self: I can relate to what I just read because Harry Potter wasn’t good at doing magic at first when he came to Hogwarts, but then he practiced and tried, and eventually got better at it. I also wasn’t good using a computer at first when I used one. But when I tried and practiced a lot, I got better at using it.

It is a bit boring in the beginning, but it starts to get better when Harry starts seeing weird things and letters keep coming that are addressed to him. I would recommend this book to a friend because it has very good characters and a good plot to keep the reader interested. Like for example, some ways that it has good characters is that Harry never gave up and when he saw that the stone was gonna be stolen, he stood up and wasn’t afraid of losing any points for his team because he knew that if he didn’t want to save the stone, there would be no Hogwarts anymore and Voldemort would turn Hogwarts into a Dark Arts
