There were many people in history that were very influential. These people impacted the world in a positive manner because of their legacy, accomplishments, and their admirability. An individual person is Sir Francis Drake. Sir Francis Drake is influential because he was the first to sail on the Pacific Ocean, he has multiple places named after him because of his admirability , and he was awarded knighthood by Queen Elizabeth the first. Sir Francis Drake is influential because of his accomplishments. One of his accomplishments are he was first to sail on the Pacific Ocean.
