Throughout his life he did many things such as serve in the German military, was a popular politician in Germany, become chancellor, startedt a world war, and committed mass murder as Germany’s dictator. This was beneficial to Hitler because this would allow him to further make laws that would be irreversible. Another action that he took to enhance his power was the Night of the Long Knives. On this night, he ordered his loyal subjects to brutally murder his greatest threats. Another strategy that would help Hitler to stay in control was the disregard for the Treaty of Versailles. This would lead to Germany gaining more land, with the claim of Lebensraum.
