A child traumatized by a treacherous accident, needing something to comfort him/her. Horses will do the trick. In an article by Ashley Breeding, called Desert Sun, she writes, ” A halter hanging over her shoulder and blonde pigtails braided down her small back, 6-year-old Amelia Grace strokes the muzzle of her new friend, Karisma- a white and chestnut speckled mare twice her age. Karisma returns the affection to the little girl, who now sweeps her painted, pink fingertips across the horse's withers.The motion appears to soothe both friends.” Amelia Grace is a child suffering from anxiety, minimal self esteem, and other disorders.
I am going to raise money to help pay for horses and an arena for kids with disabilities or who have witnessed deaths or been in or witnessed a bad accident to be able to get to know a horse, ride it, and have fun.This cause is significant because some people aren’t able to afford to have a horse but it would help them with their disabilities and struggles to help and overcome them. …show more content…

I will fundraise the money to help cover the cost of the arena and horses. I will find workers and some volunteers to work at the arena. This project will take about a year and a half to get started. My goal of this proposal is to help kids with special need to enjoy, relax. Have an opportunity to “have” a horse, have fun.
