Honey is a thick golden sticky substance made by bees when they collect nectar from flowers. Nectar is a sugary liquid bees extract from flowers using their tube shaped tongues then stored in their extra stomach. After the bees fly with the nectar in their extra stomach, the enzymes in their stomach mix with the nectar creating honey that can be used for long term storage in their honeycomb (Palermo, By Elizabeth. Honey that is 100% pure, in other means mixed with no water, will be more concentrated and 85% honey will be more viscous.
