The Holocaust was persecution and murder of six million Jews. The act was done by Nazis known as Hitler's followers. It was an event of depression many lives were taken and Jews had to go through a harsh time. Since the germans believed they were superior to the Jews and blamed the Jews for all their failures they decided to try to eliminate their whole kind. I will explain some of the issues and experiences the Jews faced. I will also talk about how certain things happened, how the Holocaust could of been stopped and lessons learned from the event. Jews were treated unfairly and faced hardships that changed their lives.

Yes there are many things that could've been done that would've stopped the horrible process, of murdering and torturing the Jews. For instance if the Spanish republic had been helped and won the civil war, Nazis Germany could of been much more cautious. Also If Britain didn't decide to continue after the fall of France there wouldn't have been mass killings because they started to happen when Britain chose to fight on. Another thing is if the U.S and other countries had accepted the Jews to emigrate in their country before world war 1 many lives could of been saved, and the Holocaust could of had a chance of not occurring. Hitler himself could have been stopped early before he gained a lot of power and control over europe. She is one of the most discussed victim and had a touching story. Anne was a german-jewish that was forced to go into hiding during the tragic event. Her family and four other people went in hiding in an annex over two years in Amsterdam. Anne and the people she was living with were soon betrayed by someone.
