A romantic/comedy film, a little romance with drama and to top it off with a little comedy to make you die from laughter. Hitch, made in the year 2005, is a film that focus on men and women dating. In today’s world appearance seems to be everything. Women see the opposite in what men see in them. People are quick to judge others on how they look rather than what kind of person they really are. This is true when it comes to our needs in the opposite sex. The film is based on “Hitch” trying to help others when it comes to dating. The main thing is getting others to see what really matters when it comes to meeting that significant one. Sara Melas the reporter that tries to expose Hitch for what he does or tries to do with men when it comes to the subject of women. One of her friends gets hurt by a guy that was a client of hitch. This triggers her inner female and shows how strong women can be. Women are sensitive human beings that tend to be emotional blocking out their true emotions. Sara Melas is a strong woman that does not need a man to take care of her own needs. This displays to the audience that women can be very independent on their own. Her own character believes that love does not exist and relationships will never function. Throughout the movie you can see that the men Hitch helps only want to better their selves and a have healthy relationship like everyone in society. Albert gives all men a good name, he shows that men are misunderstood like women as well. Having a different persona around women gives men the confidence to talk to women. That can also hurt you in the long run because women want a genuine honest man. In the film, you see that Hitch hides who really is from Sara. Sara later finds out who he really is and goes on a rampage, she ends up getting hurt. If hitch was honest in the first place he wouldn’t be in this predicament. In this film, you can honestly say that albert changes the mind of the audience about the aspect of all men. The tone towards the end shines the light on how men only do these things out of love for that special someone. Society only sees the appearance before getting to know someone, looks can be deceiving but personalities change
