Can you imagine life without cars? Recent numbers states that each household owns at least two cars. Henry Ford built the automobile; it made it easier for transportation. Henry Ford made a huge impact on the world.
Henry Ford was born July 30, 1863, on his family’s farm in Wayne Country. He died April 7, 1947. Ford grew up the oldest of six children on his parent’s farm. Henry Ford had four siblings. They’re names were Jane, Margaret, William, and Robert. Henry Ford mother was Mary Ford, and his father was William Ford. When Henry was twelve, his mother died of childbirth. Henry Ford spent his childhood on his family's farm, located just outside of Detroit, MI. From the time he was a young boy, Ford enjoyed tinkering with machines. Henry Ford went to school at Green Fired township. Henry dropped out of school at age fifth teen. Unsatisfied with farm work, Ford left home the following year, at the age of 16, to take an apprenticeship as a machinist in Detroit. Henry Ford’s wife was Clara Ala Bryant. They were since 1888-1947. Henry Ford had a son named Edsel.

Henry Ford was a captain of industry. He owned Ford Motors, which was an automobile company. Ford was a man who always wanted his own way and he got it most of the time. The creation he is most famous for is the FORD MODEL T, the car for the commoners. His car became an instant hit amongst the people- the local people and the working class of people because it was very affordable and was not just for the rich. Ford was a very successful businessman but not particularly a nice guy. He expected a lot from his workers but thing is that he also cared for his workers, because he knew that not only were they dependent on him but also that he depended upon them, they were the ones due to which he was gaining popularity and success throughout America. Ford’s great strength was the manufacturing process for his cars. Instead of having people put together the entire car he created organized teams that added parts to the Model T as it moved down the assembly line, this lowered the production prices and also the time and energy required to put together the cars.
Henry Ford was a great entrepreneur, who changed the way the world travelled, manufactured goods and enjoyed their leisure time. He bridged the gap between consumer and automobile, bettering the industry and world economy. He didn’t invent the automobile he just made it affordable for the average family through his moving assembly line that is still being used today to manufacture all things from household electronics to toys.
Before the 1920's Americans use to walk and ride their horses for transportation. But when Henry Ford came along, he invented the first car that would drastically change American lives. Following in 1903, he established the Ford Motor Company, which expeditiously became a leader in the automotive industry and would gain extensive wealth within only a few decades. While other manufacturers strove to produce automobiles to be extravagant and luxurious predominantly for the wealthy, he immensely focused on efficient mass production of durable, affordable vehicles for the expanding middle-class market. He had come up with several designs and in 1896, he produced his first car, the Model A. When Ford’s first car came out, he had been interviewed by a reporter and when asked about the history of the car, he had said “History is more or less bunk.” Ford worked in Thomas Edison’s factory for years and the left to become an apprentice for a car-producer in Detroit. At age 16 he left the farm and went to nearby Detroit, a city that was becoming an industrial giant. There he worked as an apprentice at a machine shop, while months later he would begin work with steam engines at the Detroit Dry Dock Co., where he first saw the internal combustion engine, the kind of engine he would later use to make his automobiles.
Henry Ford was a man with struggles that hurt him, but he overcame them and became a successful person he was. Henry Ford was not successful at first because of his car's prices were too high to afford, so he created the idea of an assembly line, and then he created it. He also had struggles with his religious beliefs that changed how people think of him. He was criticized for his religious beliefs against Jews it hit him hard with the press. He also had relations with Hitler and other Nazis. He was also involved in some political and charitable events.
