Children who had been left in a car can suffer from heat stroke in a few hours, even the temperature outside the car is not especially hot. According to the National Safety Council of US, about 30 children were killed per year. On average, 38 children die in cars because of high temperature. (Shimpi, Kadam & Mali, 2014).
The number of children that die in car had been increased from years to years. Children that had been left by their parents in a car may suffer from hyperthermia or heat stroke due to heat in the car. This is an accident that should be avoided and take it as a serious matter among the parents. Some parents may think that this accident will not happen to their family. Unfortunately, this problem still happened due to lack of attention from the parent. A parent may think that left their children in car is safe. They left their children in the car and do their work without thinking this will lead to another problem caused by their action. Some parent unintentionally left their children in the car. They forget about their child in the car.
There is another case that parent left their baby because of the baby is sleeping. Even in a few minutes, the heat can cause the baby to suffer heat stroke. Leave their child in the car not only causes hyperthermia or heat stroke but children may tend to play …show more content…

Most authors quote the core temperature of the body not exceeding 40.6 degree Celsius. (Grogan & Hopkins, 2002). Heat stroke can be happened to children even the weather outside the car are not really hot. This is because the temperature in the car is increasing faster than outside. Children are more tendency to suffer heat stroke than adult. The children can die from heat stroke if the temperature is above 107 body temperature. Parents may not alert about this situation. Even if they had opened the windows for slowing the heating process it still cannot avoid this
