In just a few seconds, his life went from bad to worse. While working one day, Mike Sprague fell of a thirty-five foot roof, breaking both feet. He was bedridden, unable to do any exercise of any sort. To add on to this, Mike was overweight and weight loss was necessary for his recovery. His inability to walk made losing weight even more difficult. To make matters worse, Mike was gaining weight in this state of sedentary hopelessness. Mike became sorrowful, depressed, and failed to see any good in his life. Fortunately, with some slight motivation, Mike gathered up his own motivation and lost 211 pounds through proper dieting and daily exercise. He is happier than ever; he has found a great balance in his life through eating right and participating in physical activity (“Three Amazing Lifestyle”). Everyone strives for happiness. To some, happiness consists of wealth and luxurious spending which is far from the truth. True joy shouldn’t be expensive. Fortunately, happiness comes cheap; it can be achieved by everyone. Both mental and physical struggles will arise, but everyone can find joy in their lives. Living healthy increases lifespan, releases endorphins, and reduces risks of certain diseases thus creating a more jovial, optimistic lifestyle. How does one live healthily? Living a healthy lifestyle requires exercise, a proper diet, and motivation.
Living healthy requires physical activity, whether moderate, light, or intense. One cannot expect to acquire happiness simply by eating healthy; exercise is the driving force because it causes a release of endorphins. Endorphins are “the body’s natural feel good chemicals, and when they are released through exercise, your mood is boosted naturally” (“Exercise and Endorphins”). The int...

Keeping up a healthy lifestyle can be very difficult. Between work, school, and life in general, people barely have time to eat three meals a day. A lot of people struggle to incorporate healthy eating and physical activity in their daily routines. People forget that if they take care of themselves, it might help make their day a bit better. A healthy lifestyle is a very important part of living a better life.
Fitness, no matter how much or how little, allows for endorphins to rush into our bodies and increase happiness. “We all have these neat feel-good neurochemicals just waiting to be released. Virtually any form of exercise, from weight training to yoga, can
For this paper I decided to take a second and evaluate my life and think about what were some of my current lifestyle habits and behaviors and which out of these habits would I like to change. After sitting down and evaluating all of my main habits I categorized them into groups of which ones were helping to lead me to a long healthy lifestyle and which ones were likely to lead me to an unhealthy life and lifestyle. After narrowing these unhealthy habits down to my top three I decided to focus this paper and my attention on my current nutrition and most of all on my negative eating habits. After evaluating my lifestyle and all of my unhealthy habits I felt that my current nutrition level and eating patterns were in need of the most improvement and change.

Health is described as physical and mental well-being and freedom from disease, pain or defect. However, such descriptions only superficially define the actual meaning of health. There may be many occasions when individuals are not necessarily ill or in pain but may be overweight, stressed or emotionally unstable. Health is a quality of life involving dynamic interaction and interdependence among the individual’s physical state, their mental and emotional reactions, and the social context in which the individual exists. There are many factors that influence your health, but three major components contribute to general well-being: Self-awareness, a balanced diet and, regular physical activity.

Adding exercises into one’s daily routines can change their whole lifestyle. Many people look at exercise as being something just for people who want to lose weight or to become muscle bound, but there are a great deal of benefits that can be received from exercising regularly. Of course gaining muscle and losing fat are the two most popular reasons that usually attract people to the gym, but they make up a small part of the potential benefits that can be achieved with exercise. There are several ways in which I have benefited in my life from exercising regularly, besides just making me bigger and stronger. It has made me become more organized, helped me make better decisions, and motivated me to take on new challenges in life.
In the modern day, most people have heard that being happy is good for health. We all hear this, but no one really tells us why it is so. When striving to be truly healthy, a person must keep in mind that a happy attitude is directly correlated to a healthy physique. Happy people feel healthier because they are more comfortable with themselves, more likely to help others through things like volunteering, and are usually better educated. Once individuals sustain a generally constant feeling of happiness, they start to feel healthier. It is also said by some that happiness helps prevent serious diseases but this is not a known fact, (Healthy Happiness). To be happy and get the benefits requires effort, but it is far from impossible, even so overdoing it can have harmful effects.
One of the best ways in how people can improve their overall mood, keep their bones healthy and even live longer, is by being an active person. Fred DeVito stated that “if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn 't change you”; however most people just want exercise just to have a fit body and be healthier without knowing great results. Other effects that exercise has into the body are normalization of glucose, insulin and leptin levels. In other words not only will it make the appearance in a person’s life to look great, but their entire body will have an extraordinary response. In order to have a more fulfilling and enjoyable life, those who are out of shape should participate in regular fitness schedule reginert.
