Research Paper Preview The following is the introduction and thesis statement for my research paper:
In the world of fitness, there is a ridiculous amount of information on the topic of fat loss and muscle gain. It seems that everyone has a different approach that they claim is the “best” way to accomplish this goal. However, with all of this information out there, what is the best program? Through hours upon hours of research, the answer has been found. Brad Borland, Bill Geiger, and Obi Obadike have published a large amount of information that, when combined together into one program, is the fastest, most efficient method for simultaneously burning fat and building muscle. This program uses a combination of Borland’s information on macronutrients,

It is crucial to have a strong, opinionated thesis statement with a lot of detail in order to have a good paper. I started my thesis statement by including a general order of what will be discussed in the paper. However, that is the only thing that my thesis statement currently accomplishes. It does not give any opinion or detail. Going back and adding small details such as “a meal plan that includes carb-cycling” instead of “the proper meal plan” will be critical in improving the thesis. Another change that will benefit the thesis is to add in some opinion. Instead of saying “this paper will use a variety of sources”, I could say “this paper will use a variety of clear, informative sources written by fitness professionals”. This change adds some opinion into the thesis, and it also adds in some detail. Another change that will be beneficial to make is to add in how the essay helps the readers implement the plan. “… how to implement the program in to a busy lifestyle” can be changed to “tips for implementing the program into a busy lifestyle such as planning out every meal”. This change helps the readers implement the program. After these changes are made, the thesis will read “This paper will use a variety of clear, informative sources written by fitness professionals to outline the importance of adding carb-cycling to meal plans, the benefits of muscle gain from weighted workouts, the proper exercise routine which includes HIIT cardio, how to use supplements such as protein powders to manipulate time complications, and how to better apply the program into a busy lifestyle by proper planning of workouts and meals.” This thesis statement is better because it adds in more details and opinions which help to better guide the reader through the paper. These extra bits of information allow for the reader to begin to think about some of the information that will be discussed. Because this thesis statement is
3. Your thesis statement should state exactly what you are discussing in your paper. If you spend a paragraph on stubbornness, a paragraph on shortsightedness, etc, the each of those points should be listed in the thesis statement. Both being unwilling to change, they both seal each other’s fate with their stubbornness, shortsightedness, extreme beliefs and their hubris.
Isn’t everyone’s goal in life to be able to achieve something amazing? Better yet what about setting great goals as an individual? Wouldn’t you like to better yourself as a person? As Arnold Schwarzenegger once said “you can’t climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets”, this simply meaning that a person must be “hungry” and have a great drive to be able to achieve greatness. The feeling of greatness and satisfaction that a person will get from being a healthy, fit individual is unexplainable. Being satisfied with your own body is a very important factor to life itself. People that are healthy are known to live healthy lifestyles as well as to be great in age. There is no negative sides to being healthy, people that are healthy are happy. I plan to take an individual and better them by training them and making them a healthier person. The steps I will go through in order to make this happen are steps such as training the person, making a nutritional plan for them, and being there to support them along the journey. I will be training the person using some fundamentals that have worked for majority of world-class athletes. I plan to use simple bodybuilding tactics as my muscle builder, such as old school techniques that Arnold Schwarzenegger used in the golden ages of the sport itself. As my research has shown, my client and I are both pleased with the “golden era” physiques and we plan to make a healthy/fit body molded like the bodies of that “era”. In this project my client and I have decided to base the “nutritional plan” as a high protein/Low carb diet, which I will release in this paper. Through out this project, it should be well know that this is not an easy sport! And the discipline to stick with it is extre...
But aside from being lengthy, I also started to expound upon very specific quotes and examples in the thesis itself. For example, instead of identifying the unified theme of the imagery, I stated very distinct examples of such imagery. Thus, it appears as if the structure of my essay is reversed: too many details in the thesis and not enough in the body paragraphs!
In the end, this planned program challenges the distinctive, inefficient, and antiquated Bulk-and-Cut muscle build-up dietary strategy. This technique involves overfeeding (that includes adding many fats), aimed at ballooning the muscles prior to performing lots of cardio and cutting down on calorie consumption in order to achieve fat loss (that includes losing muscle mass in the process), and ultimately, settling down rather with a much heavier body

Carb cycling, a diet plan that alters the intake of carbs on a daily basis in order to keep metabolism high without a plateau or muscle loss, is growing in popularity for everyday people, endurance athletes, power lifters, and body competitors. That is not too surprising considering its simplicity and effectiveness. The basis of carb cycling is that from day-to-day one’s diet is constantly changing in the amount of carbohydrates and fats that are consumed. This results in overall fat loss while gaining muscle with more psychological ease, making it one of the easiest diets out there; however, there is no day-by-day instruction manual to follow. It takes knowledge and knowing one’s body. Everyone’s body is different; thus, every diet will be different, but learning how to alter the diet based on one’s body and daily routines is the key. To be more specific, endurance athletes have very different nutrition needs than power lifters, non-endurance sports, and less active people.
2.3 Explain how the health and social care practitioner own values, beliefs and experiences can influence delivery of care.
Healthy People 2020 is a program for the promotion of health and the prevention of diseases, launched by the Department of Health and Human Services in December 2010. According to healthypeople.gov, this program has four overarching goals which are first to achieve healthy, longer lives free of preventable diseases, injuries, and premature deaths; to achieve health fairness, eliminate differences, and improve all groups’ health; also to produce social and physical environments that encourage good health; and last but not least to promote life’s quality, healthy development, and healthy behaviors through all life stages. This program has a vision of a community where people live long, healthy lives. Healthy People 2020 offers a comprehensive set of 10 years of nationwide goals and objectives that is meant to improve the health of the American population. Healthy People 2020 covers 42 topic areas with approximately 600 objectives, which include 1,200 measures. A smaller set of Healthy People 2020 objectives, has been designated to communicate high-priority health issues and actions that can be taken to address them, this objectives are called Leading Health Indicators. The program goes above and beyond these health indicators in order to provide the best care for the people of this country. These indictors cover from the access of health service, nutrition, physical activity, and obesity to substance abuse, environmental quality, injury and violence.
Health issues throughout the human lifespan are always hard to deal with. In this essay, I will give examples of different health issues that occur throughout the lifespan of a human. The seven different stages of a human’s lifespan include: infancy, early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, middle adulthood, and late adulthood. By the concluding paragraph of this essay, you will have gained knowledge of some of the health related issues of a given person throughout their lifespan.

Health as a Social Construction In my essay, I aim to find out why social construction affects the health of our society. Ill health may be defined as 'a bodily or mental state that is deemed undesirable'. This means that health is the condition of the body both physically and mentally. Social construction of health refers to the way health varies from one society to another.
In order to best serve the community’s health needs, it is vital to assess who would most benefit from increased care coordination and improvement changes. Preventative health information will be most beneficial and applicable to vulnerable populations such as disabled pediatrics and their families. Disabled and chronically ill children and their families often require multiple services, providers, and resources. Examples of children and families with multiple needs which would benefit from the preventative health improvement plan include a child who, has been newly diagnosed, has a progressive condition, or which is being cared for by a parent who demonstrates a lack of knowledge. This community preventative health project may also promote health outcomes for individuals with chronic diseases such as
The poor food choices that men and women make is the cause of many illnesses, disease and chronic health conditions. Men and women generally have different thoughts and choices on the topic of healthy food. People’s bad health may be genetically occurred or their exposure to their past nutritional education was not helpful, but their bad health is primarily based upon the poor choices that the individuals choose in daily life.
I have always been intrigued by the field of science and that is the reason I pursued the field of Biochemistry for my undergraduate studies. How The Human body works and the different determinants that can affect one's health or a community as a whole have always been captivating to me. I wanted to emerge in a profession that is beneficial for me, my community, and the world I live in. I came to realize through various science courses and health care experiences that a career in health care was the best path for me to outreach my community and the world.
There are numerous public health problems that can be addressed in my Southside of Chicago community. Among the several public health problems facing my Southside of Chicago community there are two that are more urgent. Health education or one might say lack thereof is a problem that needs to be addressed. My community is plagued with many of the residents suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, and the killer virus known as HIV. In most cases these conditions can be prevented with healthier lifestyles and access to nutritious organic foods. In addition, environmental health is another urgent problem my community is facing. Access to clean, safe water and air is supposed to be a fundamental human right aimed at a healthy environment. Yet, my community consists a waste contaminated beach, numerous deteriorated building that are still occupied, and a countless number of restaurant and stores supplying our residents with services that are endangering their health.
