In the short story, Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut, the author chose to kill Harrison to show how hopeless the people are. Kurt shows this by writing what can happen if you break the handicap law. By trying to make everything and everybody equal. In creating government control. All of these facts lead to everything. Kurt Vonnegut is also showing us why equality in certain things is not good.
