Haroun and the sea of stories is an amazing adventure story with monsters, talking books and more. People use stories all the time, people tell stories for a living, it’s a writer's job to tell stories and they get paid for it. Like in Haroun and the sea of stories, stories are a huge part of Rashid Khalifa’s life, his job is to tell stories for politicians to earn the people's vote. Like in Haroun and the sea of stories, stories are entertaining, inspiring, and help people, they’re very important in life. Stories are a way of entertainment and much more, it doesn't matter if they’re true or untrue. Actually stories can be funny and a way to cheer people up and make them laugh. The adventure was to find a antidote for rashid to tell stories again. In Haroun and the sea of stories there was a politician that wanted Rashid to tell a story for him, his name was Mr. Buttoo. But Rashid told a story that made the politician look bad, and that caused everyone to storm the politician out of the city(Rushdie 106).
