Looking from a design standpoint, the website for Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, is very engaging and modern. The navigation is laid out in a way that is easy to follow and the show of current social media posts displays the impact of Elvis Presley. With an impressive list of achievements, Elvis made quite the name for himself that still stands today. This particular site not only shares his background and life story, but also the place where he called home (Graceland). When it comes to displaying the life of Elvis, specifically with the website of Graceland, advertising plays a role in how his legacy is portrayed. From this conversation and the events that followed, Presley received a special assistant’s badge that is featured at Graceland (Shattuck, 2016). This movie holds excitement for the legacy of Elvis, and for Graceland that features his badge. With any person who has such an impressive career, it is hard to forget them. This is one of the reason that Elvis is still known as "The King" today. The city of Las Vegas is a great example that shows how he is still known today. There are numerous impersonates and wedding chapels where couples can have the officiator be Elvis. In 2015, the Westgate Resort and Casino opened up their own Graceland. Many of the offers on the site are for family vacations but targeting a music or history class would be an opportunity to keep the legacy of Elvis alive in the younger generations. As for keeping his music alive, there are numerous opportunities with current artists today. Every artist has an inspiration, and for those that have Elvis as theirs is an opportunity for them to cover his music at their concerts. Their is a cultural norm and role expectation with the younger generation when it comes to music. A cultural norm is the appropriate behavior in a culture and role expectations in a culture are what is expected (Babin & Harris, p. 181). The norm these days for music and pop culture is new, not old. Elvis would be considered old since his music is from decades ago. But every once in awhile, styles and trends repeat themselves. It is only a matter of time before the music style of Elvis is heard by a new artist. Breaking this cultural norm now is a strategy for keeping the legend of Elvis
