Preliminary Research: Good Society: What is a good society? Good society is a practice, it is a way how to act in a society. It is based on many criteria that maintains a vision of a better world. Some of them are: • Progressive income tax • Socially responsible minimum wage and guaranteed income: keep everyone above the poverty line • Provide free education and family supports: ensure equal opportunity to all who wish to learn to survive the complex world. • Safety and freedom for social disorder and problems: we could reduce poverty, crime, jealousy, and allow all people to enjoy life by fixing minimum wages to all people and by awarding other people for working hard with extra bonuses. • Protection and shelter: so that no one is forced to live on the streets. One of the major challenges is poverty and inequity. • Common sense: we all live together on this planet, and humans are social animals so we’re better get along and be responsible. • Balancing and blending democracy and capitalism: the need of the majority out weight the desires of the least. • Adequate food: our capitalist democracy agree on burning down grain than feeding the poor, they would rebel against our calls for food for all. • Clothing: no one should freeze to death in winter. All people should have a minimum standard of clothing. • Independence and Responsibility • Healthcare Common Sense • Consumer care: The customer is the most important in all declarations of good business and it should therefore assist consumer protection movements. Selected governing tools (Due diligence, audit reports, quality assurance reports, progress reports)
