As a female, I know that over 95% of us have asked the question “Are there any “good guys” out there? It seems like all guys are jerks or losers.” And then there is the 5% who have never asked the question, and I’m included in it. Someone as dedicated to school as I am, understand why. But later on around this time is when I met my best friend and current boyfriend, Ozzy. He is a year younger than me but the way he carries himself, one would easily assume that he is older. He is a straight A student who is probably the most caring, sensitive and strongest person I have ever met. He is nothing like guys you see today. This is probably why I consider him a “full package”. As stated before, most guys you see today are jerks. Before, you didn’t see a lot of guys dressing inappropriately, swearing, or earning a GPA of a 1.0. Now, guys consider this a trend. They think it looks cool to sag their pants to show off their behinds. Most girls are very observant and when a guy demonstrates these qualities, it raises a red flag signaling that the guy may be a jerk or someone not worth their time. When looking at Ozzy from a girl’s perspective, they will see none of traits stated previously. He …show more content…
He is always in good moods, always smiling and friendly to everyone even if they don’t deserve it. And though it can easily be mistaken that he’s never gets tired of being this way, he actually does. On the outside he displays himself as a very happy person, but on the inside he hurts too. Occasionally, he is bullied by people who aren’t used to his personality. They say hurtful things because they don’t understand why he is this way so happy and want to bring him down. Bullying like this can take a toll on someone like him. He goes through things like any other person does. He masks his problems and he knows how to control them and because of this, he is strong for it. He doesn’t display to everyone that he may be sad or has feelings of
The motion picture A Few Good Men challenges the question of why Marines obey their superiors’ orders without hesitation. The film illustrates a story about two Marines, Lance Corporal Harold W. Dawson and Private First Class Louden Downey charged for the murder of Private First Class William T. Santiago. Lieutenant Daniel Kaffee, who is known to be lackadaisical and originally considers offering a plea bargain in order to curtail Dawson’s and Downey’s sentence, finds himself fighting for the freedom of the Marines; their argument: they simply followed the orders given for a “Code Red”. The question of why people follow any order given has attracted much speculation from the world of psychology. Stanley Milgram, a Yale psychologist, conducted an experiment in which randomly selected students were asked to deliver “shocks” to an unknown subject when he or she answered a question wrong. In his article, “The Perils of Obedience”, Milgram concludes anyone will follow an order with the proviso that it is given by an authoritative figure. Two more psychologists that have been attracted to the question of obedience are Herbert C. Kelman, a professor at Harvard University, and V. Lee Hamilton, a professor at the University of Maryland. In their piece, Kelman and Hamilton discuss the possibilities of why the soldiers of Charlie Company slaughtered innocent old men, women, and children. The Marines from the film obeyed the ordered “Code Red” because of how they were trained, the circumstances that were presented in Guantanamo Bay, and they were simply performing their job.

He is the author of An Imperial Affliction, Hazel and Augustus's favorite book. When they visit him in Amsterdam, however, they learn that he is not everything that they expected. Moral evil was an issue that weighed heavily on the minds of the people of the Medieval period. Philosophers and poets alike attempted to address and understand the problem of moral evil, scrutinizing the roots of evil and the effects of evil on the body and, more importantly, on the soul. Of the philosophers that the period produced the views of St. Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, and Boethius on the problem of evil are perhaps the most notable. From the literary side of the spectrum, the problem of evil is addressed heavily in Beowulf.
For this assignment we were required to attend an event that had something to do with the women culture. The event that I choose to attend was called “ More than a Few Good Men: A Lecture on American Men and Violence against Women” and it was presented by Jackson Katz. And although I missed the first 30 minutes of the event, the whole topic of conversation was interesting and fascinating. The event consisted of two parts, the first one being about domestic violence and the second being about the by-standard effect as well as the way that media and movies give young boys their ideas of masculinity. All the information provided was helpful and useful when it comes to trying to understand the reason why men act in a dominant and sometimes an intimidating way towards women.
It seemed like he was an individual with an arrogant personality. He liked to make his own decision and he does not like to be told what to do by anyone. Due to his physical condition, he needed maximum assistance with daily care. He was unable to ambulate for his right leg injury. There we many times that he refused care and stated, “Leave me alone now!” after receiving pain medication.
From my dating experiences in the past, I have come to realize that of all the different guys that there are two main types. The first one I call the heartbreaker and the other is the sweetheart. This observation, that I have made, is not based on appearance, and it is mostly based on my own opinion.

Julian is not very good person to me because he at one minute he is nice and then at the next he is mean and mad at everyone. When you first meet him he is nice and kind but, when he is at school he acts so rude pretend like he does not know him.
A guy who has got it all figured out – and doesn’t come bearing lots of drama, exes, or other issues, is refreshing, impressive and very appealing.
