A couple torn apart, a golden hero trio, a lovable droid, and a masked villain, these are all themes and characters that are very present in the original Star Wars movies and that, through some wonderful casting and directing choices, J.J Abrams revived in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The amount of wonderful nostalgic details in this new film will take both old and young Star Wars fans alike back to when they first saw a Star Wars film.
Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford return in The Force Awakens as the regal Leia Organa and scruffy Han Solo, they may have the lines of time etched on their face, but the acting and chemistry between them is still there and is reminiscent of their early romance in the earlier Star Wars movies. However, much

However, with The Force Awakens being set 30 years after the events of The Return of the Jedi the the original golden trio is much older, no longer capable of the active missions of old, and have in some cases become mere myths and legends throughout the galaxy. A new golden trio of heroes is introduced in The Force Awakens in the form a girl and two men. Rey, played by brilliant Hollywood newcomer Daisy Ridley, is a young desert girl who has no family or real home, but has the heart of a lion and uses her courage to help her in her adventures throughout the galaxy. Daisy Ridley, who has never starred in a blockbuster film before, brings a freshness and liveliness to the character of Rey. Casting young, new actors in large roles is always a gamble, but J.J Abrams hit the jackpot with Ridley.
The next member of the new golden trio is Poe Dameron, played by veteran actor and Golden Globe nominee Oscar Isaac, a very skilled Resistance fighter pilot who helps Leia Organa fight the Dark Side. Last, but not least, a young man named Finn, played by the fresh young talent John Boyega, of strange background and circumstance, is part of the new golden
Rogue One not only surpasses the other films in the franchise, but it does so in a clear and well thought out way. It's a film that had no reason to exist but it does meaningfully with a concise plot. The exposition event is when Director Orson Krennic invades Jyn Else's home and tries to make her father Galen Erso work with the Empire. This ends poorly and the Empire killed Galens wife and takes Galen into their ship while Jyn barely escapes. Rising action then takes place when Jyn, K-2SO and Cassian arrives at the holy city of Jedha. They soon discover Saw Gerrera and find out that they need to get the Death Star plans. They then head to Eadu to find Galen Erso and after sometime arguing head to the Imperial’s base on Scariff. The climax occurs when Jyn Erso is about to send the Death Star plans to the rebellion but confronts Krennic. Cassian defeats him and he goes with Jyn to the beach while the watch the planet blows up. The falling action is when Darth vader inceps the Death Star plans but the rebels escape. The resolution is when Prisons Leia is asked what the plans mean and she says Hope.
The famous Star Wars is a movie from the epic space film series directed by George Lucas premiered in 1977. Since there are multiple Star Wars movies in the series, this paper will be focusing on the first movie of the series called Star Wars: A New Hope.
My reasons for this opinion are all because of the Disney movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens. First, the two movies The Force Awakens and the New Hope have the exact same plots. In all The other movies of Star Wars each plot is very different. In The Phantom Menace, the first movie in the Star Wars saga, the plot is that
Macbeth is a play written by William Shakespeare. It is considered one of his darkest and most powerful tragedies. Set in Scotland, the play dramatizes the corrosive psychological and political effects produced when evil is chosen as a way to fulfil the ambition for power. The play is believed to have been written between 1603 and 1607, and is most commonly dated 1606. It is a timeless classic and its themes resonate within some of the most common movies and books of modern times. Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise centered on a film series created by George Lucas. The film series, consisting of two trilogies, has spawned an extensive media franchise called the Expanded Universe including books, television series, computer and video games, and comic books. The franchise depicts a galaxy described as far, far away in the distant past, and it commonly portrays Jedi as a representation of good, in conflict with the Sith, their evil counterpart. Their weapon of choice, the lightsaber, is commonly recognized in popular culture. It is arguably a cinematic masterpiece, holding in rank two of possibly the greatest trilogies the world has ever seen. It is a timeless epic which embodies within it an allegory for the history of the world; the rise and fall of empires and their emperors; the pursuit of power; the melting pot of cultures; the struggle for survival; the advancement of human technology; and most importantly as a whole, the history of humanity. Steven D. Graynus declared, “Ultimately, what the Star Wars films offer is….rousing storytelling suffused by themes of moral struggle and transcendence” (Decent Films Guide). The franchise's storylines contain many themes, with strong influences from philosophy and religio...

If you were a soldier of the Continental Army during the winters at Valley Forge, would you have quit? The Continental Army was an army of militiamen that was created by the Continental Congress. The soldiers and generals in the army had little to no experience, and they lacked supplies such as quality clothing, proper shelters, and sufficient food. The Continental Army was led by George Washington, one of the best generals in U.S. history, who taught the soldiers almost everything they knew. On October 1777, British General Howe brought his army of 18,000 redcoats into the national capital of Philadelphia. Consequently, Washington decided to move his army to Valley Forge, an area just 18 miles from Philadelphia, to keep watch on them. It just
FN-2817 is an unique name that matches his unique story. FN-2817 or, Finn, is a character who has a start unlike most heroes, he starts at a stormtrooper. The irony of the situation is hilarious because stormtroopers are one of the villains of the movie. Finn’s call to adventure is one unlike any other. His call to adventure is actually when he was on the dark side. His call to adventure is when his Kylo Ren and the Stormtroopers went to Jakku. This is the location of his supernatural aid. His supernatural aid came from, oddly enough, Kylo Ren the main antagonist of “The Force Awakens”. Kylo Ren used the force to thwart a shot fired by Poe Dameron, a Resistance fighter. This is one of the reason’s Finn joined to fight against the First Order because he saw other people stand up for what right.
Quite possibly one of the most iconic openings in cinematic history is “A Long time ago in a galaxy far far away.” Of course, I am referring to Star Wars. It is such a fascinating and great movie going experience. There have been a total of seven Star Wars films, but in this essay I am going to be focusing on Star Wars: Episode 3- Revenge of the Sith. This film was written and directed by George Lucas and of the science fiction genre. Revenge of the Sith was released in theaters on May 19, 2005.

Yes because all these movies have been impacted from Star Wars they all transfer you to a different era from you fighting off Nazis to walking into mordor.
Will people ever be as cool as Han Solo. Back in time when star wars came out. In 1973 Harrison Ford played as Han Solo in star wars. Harrison Ford played as him in all of the star wars movies. Sometimes he got to play as Indiana Jones movies. Ahh those were the best, nothing could beat them. Harrison Ford’s disability was depression so he had to overcome it. But before it was all over he had found his solution.

Star Wars Rogue One is a story about the complexities of good versus evil and of how no individual, group, or movement is without flaw, but that universal forces will always seek balance. The story follows the life of a young girl who experiences unimaginable trauma as a causality of the conflict between two galactic powers caught in an epic struggle: one for complete control and power, and the other for freedom and independence. This story exemplifies the resilience and strength of the human spirit and how even insurmountable odds can be overcome through determination, friendship, and hope. Group Roles Jyn Erso is the most complex character within the story, which makes her the most difficult to categorize. As a very young girl, Jyn witnessed
