The feud also prevented the families from seeing Romeo and Juliet's love for each other. Also, it caused unnecessary violence and hatred between the two families, which created problems in Verona. Another example is, “A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life... And the continuance of their parents’ rage” (The Prologue). If the family had been in peace then Romeo and Juliet could’ve married very easily and lived a great life. Romeo and Juliet wouldn’t have had to die, their fate would’ve been better. All of their worries would be gone. If the families had resolved the issue, then the families would’ve been able to see the love for Romeo and Juliet.
