American Citizens: Freedom, Individuality, and Rights

Our country is an independent country that has many features and flaws, but we all just have to live with them. There are many things that other countries think America is all about. Some main things I see; hillbillies, beer, junk food, and fat people. That may be the case with some people, but that is not what being an American is all about. There are many things that this country has to offer for us. Maybe these are just stereo types, but most of them are offensive. There are three main things that come when you are American. Those three things come with having freedom, individuality, and our given Rights.

First, the most important thing to me, as an American, is having freedom.

    How does one define freedom? The OED gives about a dozen useful definitions that each pertain to one of a variety of the aspects of the human state. However, this didn’t prevent the people from disputing against the constitutional law, especially the people in the South who continued to retaliate against African Americans and the idea of integration in white schools. Integration in white schools played a major role in the battle for Civil Rights in the South, upon the coming of independence for all African American people in the United States after a series of tribulations and loss of hope.
