Do I think free speech should be limited? I don’t think it should be. “No one should be stopped to say what they want,” says John Stossel, “but some are.” The Muslim religion is the only religion that goes to the extreme because they are offended by someone drawing Mohammed. We are nice enough to let immigrant Muslims in America, but they don’t like our freedom of speech. Does free speech play an important role in a free society? Yes, with all of the new conflicts with free speech it gives the government a new view of freedom of speech, and how to handle it. The bad thing is it isn’t being handled correct. Not only that the safe spaces are mostly held in colleges. “Campuses are the biggest Intimidators,” states Kirsten Powers,” These are not fragile snowflakes.” Do I think free speech should be allowed in more areas? Yes, especially campuses. There is a small square in most colleges where there can be any free speech. In Dixie State, liberals made a free speech zone with a booth with flyers and a board you can write what you want to say, but a cop showed up looking for hate speech and scared a student off. “There is no one free speech zone, America is a free speech zone,” Kristen Powers admits. Should there be areas that free speech be restricted? No. After seeing the people that practice politics being harassed in their own home by police because the police were against politics. “These innocent families are being harassed and not being able to justify what happened because the police scared them,” Mark Stein yelled. First off, it’s not the police's job to judge, their job is to investigate murders, kidnaps, burglaries, and to bring the guilty to justice. Not shut politics
