Ford now claims to have the safest truck on the road, the Ford F-150. The safety tests are there to prove and others can’t compete. If Ford has a better safety rating than other companies, it must have better components in the truck, that would make other companies interested in finding what makes the Ford truck better. If Ford needs a boost in sales, now is the time.
F-150 Supercrew or Supercab? The new Ford F-150 Supercrew has a great safety rating and people are interested with what the truck has to offer. When he was older he would fix machines without pay. When he turned 16, Henry worked as an apprentice for a mechanic for 2.50$ a week. In addition to working for a mechanic Henry also worked for a watchmaker to pay his 3.50$ board. Henry strived to make a car the public could afford, he started with a car that was shaped like a box and had bike wheels with a lever instead of a wheel to steer. Later when Henry had his car company he realized that other car companies bought car parts and assembled them in the factory while Henry wanted to make his own parts. Henry Ford’s main goal was to be mass producing cars. When workers came to the factory, Henry gave them 1 job to do, so the workers could focus on their part. While workers were building the car parts, conveyor belts would bring the new parts to the workers, so they wouldn’t waste time finding the next piece. Ford says that they are now more of a “Auto and mobility company”(Davies). Ford now has the ability to let you control your phone with your car’s navigation system. Ford’s big competitor, Toyota has already started developing apps for their cars. Ford has started to team up with amazon to integrate the Amazon Echo speaker. The Echo speaker allows you to update things you tell it to do. Rumors have been spreading about Google and Ford have been working together to make self driving cars.
Having looked at the history and future of the new Ford cars and trucks it is amazing to see what they can do. Sales most likely will boost with new integrations and advancements in Ford’s new trucks. To me, it seems like good things are to come from
Henry Ford was a captain of industry. He owned Ford Motors, which was an automobile company. Ford was a man who always wanted his own way and he got it most of the time. The creation he is most famous for is the FORD MODEL T, the car for the commoners. His car became an instant hit amongst the people- the local people and the working class of people because it was very affordable and was not just for the rich. Ford was a very successful businessman but not particularly a nice guy. He expected a lot from his workers but thing is that he also cared for his workers, because he knew that not only were they dependent on him but also that he depended upon them, they were the ones due to which he was gaining popularity and success throughout America. Ford’s great strength was the manufacturing process for his cars. Instead of having people put together the entire car he created organized teams that added parts to the Model T as it moved down the assembly line, this lowered the production prices and also the time and energy required to put together the cars.

He and his father where riding into Detroit at the time. At that moment, he knew what he wanted to do with his life: he wanted to make a difference in the automobile industry. When Ford’s first car came out, he had been interviewed by a reporter and when asked about the history of the car, he had said “History is more or less bunk.” Ford worked in Thomas Edison’s factory for years and the left to become an apprentice for a car-producer in Detroit. When the Tesla Model S was first released, Consumer Reports named the Electric Vehicle (EV) the most remarkable auto ever tested. The consumer protection publication; that has been looking out for their readers since 1936; said that the Flagship vehicle from Elon Musk’s Motor Company, was essentially flawless. Its performance on the track and in safety testing was second to none. However, due to a drop in quality class; from average to below; the Tesla Model S has been removed from Consumer Reports’ Recommended List.

Hybrid vehicles are gas-electric vehicles. They provide gas mileage that is more efficient than that of conventional gas only powered vehicles. For the Ford Motor Company, an increase in its demand of hybrid vehicles seems to be a double-edged sword. It is profitable that there was an increase in demand; however, they have not been able to keep up with the demand. Ford introduced the first hybrid SUV, the Ford Escape, to auto showrooms in 2004. This was one of the few hybrid vehicles available to consumers. Upon introducing the Ford Escape and increased fuel prices, Ford experienced an unexpected increase in demand for its Escape, which rendered the company unable to keep up with the demand. Dealerships began selling out of this popular hybrid model as soon as it hit the showroom (Freeman, 2006). With gas prices constantly on the rise, consumer interest continued to rise. The demand for the hybrid vehicle became higher than the supply. With Ford Motors inability to keep up with demand, its sales for the vehicle fell from 2,526 in June of 2007 to 1,578 in July of 2007 (Freeman, 2006).

There are many different surveys, crash reports, and rating systems comparing different companies and their vehicles. Things you should look for when reading these published articles are who conducted the study? Who paid for it? Who gains from it? Who loses? These are all things to keep eye on as some automotive companies will run their own surveys making their products seem overpowering against the competition. Some prove their products are safer then the competition where the competition has been proven time and time again to make that survey seem inaccurate.
