When things get tough often your friends are the ones who keep you going. What people don’t realize is that they are there for you way more than you give them credit for. Good friends will support you through thick and thin and you should never take them for granted. In this book Frodo is taking a long treacherous journey. In the end it is friendships that saves his life because they don’t let him go on his alone. In the “Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R Tolkien, the power of friendship is expressed by the selfless actions exhibited by the characters throughout their journey despite the ones who only think of themselves.
