Five People I Idolize

I was blessed with a family full of amazing, kindhearted and loving people. Although there are many of us, we all manage to have our own special bonds. Every single person in my family has been an inspiration to me in one way or another. Throughout the years there was never a time where they weren't showing me what it is to be loved, to be rich with family and that I can do anything I put my mind to. However there are five people that I have truly looked up to and idolized the most; my mom, my sister, my cousin Kim, my Aunt Mary, and my Aunt Ann. One person that I will always look up to is my mom. There was never a time where I had needed something and my mom wasn't there. She has taught me so much in life, like to be independent, to treat people with respect, to always follow my dreams and to work hard for the things I want. Throughout my life, my mom was has always set the best examples for me. Whether it was her hard work, her love, or her amazing sense of humor and way of making everything better. She is not only my mother, but a helping a hand, my light in the dark, my rock and my best friend. Even through tough times, my mom has always stood strong and got through it all with a smile on her face. She is truly the backbone of my family. She has never hesitated to love me unconditionally and support me through everything. One day when I become a mother, I hope that I am as good of one as she is. My sister Niki is another person that I have always idolized. Growing up, my sister was always there. Whether it was dressing my Barbie dolls on Christmas morning, or watching movies on the couch on a rainy afternoon, she was always around to watch me grow. However, one thing that many could not see with their own eyes, was ... ... middle of paper ... ...on to talk to because she is very understanding and comforting. She is always looking for a way to put a smile on your face. Aside from having a heart of gold, she is also the strongest person I know. She beat cancer and has also battled other things in her life, but she never once seemed weak to me. Always smiling and making the best of every situation, Aunt Ann has always gone out of her way for me and the rest of our family, even while dealing with her own struggles. I am blessed to have such a strong, loving woman in my life whom I truly look up to. I am beyond thankful for my family, however I am especially blessed to have the five I look up to most. It is because of them that I am who I am today. They have all taught me something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I could not ask for better role models, and most importantly, a better family.
