The greatest disability is the one you don’t try to solve, and this is evident in many places. “Finding Her Way” an interview with Stacey Sparks interviewing Angela Park. And “Kylie’s Project”, a play about a disabled girl named Kylie, show how this is evident. Personal challenges can be caused by many different things, whether they are temporary or permanent, are coping in many different ways, and it is vital that these methods are positive. Angela Park, an immigrant from Seoul, Korea who arrived in the U.S. when she was two, was left to deal with many different problems, such as being bullied by her classmates for her accent, and the way she dressed. But since she was very young, she very easily learned English and adapted to the customs. She coped with the teasing, by sometimes standing up for herself, and sometimes her friends stood up for her. In the text, it says “ When you’re young, you just adapt and deal with whatever is in front of you. I didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about what I was doing.” This shows how she just adapted to the new situation without even thinking about it. …show more content…

Kylie rides horses to cope with her disability, and it helps her feel free as if she is able to go anywhere. It also made her stronger and more coordinated which helps her feel unstoppable.
