The Law of Explosive Growth Explosive growth leaders’ focus on the best in their leaders, they focus on the best potential leaders. In contrast, leaders of followers usually give their attention to the loudest and most difficult people, the ones who take and take, and giving nothing in return to anyone else. Being an explosive growth leader requires more than a change in the way you think; it’s an entirely different mind-set from followers. Leaders who develop leaders are working to make them very dispensable; they will rise up leaders to replace them. We must always acknowlegge Him first and the growth will come afterwards which is the Word of God for the vision of the church. Although I am not a pastor, but I am a leader over the children in my Sunday school class, so if they become unseemly things will be handled in a spiritual manner. I still have to show them love and respect and they have to do the same for me as their teacher. I try to teach them to think positive about all things and I always use this scripture: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13). Many leaders want the benefits of explosive growth but are unwilling to pay the price to attain it. Before you can lead with explosive growth, you must experience explosive growth. In the Book of Acts, the church is a living organism and all organisms are hooked up for growth. The explosive growth of the early church sends a message that the church is critical, and every part of the life and mission is meant to lead growth. The church must grow. There has been many explosive growth that has been described in Maxwell’s book, but these can only be done by multiplying the amount of leaders in our churches. Maxwell stated in his book that more of us is better than one of us. When we are influencing and developing others in a way that facilitates growth, teams will continue to grow and produce positive results. This is a spiritual walk and we have to lead the same way, staying focus on what we are doing and how it is being done is very important.
