Recommended: How religion divides us essay

There are two aspects to the creation of the universe, which are god and evolution. Evolution can be physically be seen with evidence and a god is the sense of idealism. Believing in god or supernatural power is an idea that motivates people to live up toward the next day, meaning that it gives them hope. All the religions come from the same root; however, the slight changes distinguish them into different religions. This creates barriers around people and causes conflicts. And eventually, this may lead into war. I strongly do not believe that god or a supernatural power created the universe and us because there are no prove. Our existence is a coincident because those mutated genes made us humans unique from the hominidae, in other words apes. And, we are the survival of the best fit. Therefore, a god or a supernatural power does not exist and religion is a disruptive influence in our society.

Some of the wars caused by religion are Israelite conquest of Canaan, Islamic expansion, the Crusades, the Thirty Year’s War, the French Revolution, the Taiping Rebellion, Holocaust, Lords Resistance Army, Lebanese civil war and Iranian revolution. Yes, this is history and we have become to think barriers between people have vanished. Currently it is 2014, we have overcome many conflicts to resolve the issues of having equal rights for everyone, such as racism and slavery. Although, we have not completely vanished the barriers among people caused by religion. For example the recent publicized racism occur on the Fox News Channel in July 2013. And, people created that god exist because it motivates and encourages them, that a supernatural power is always there to help when in need. Therefore, god or a supernatural power is an illusion. Evolution has happened and humans are the products. This is because humans have the superior traits and the advanced brain compared to the other species. We are capable of expanding our specie and moving forward from our needs to wants such as having a luxurious life. The most important evidences to evolution are the fossil records, natural selection and genetic similarities. People should not be judged due to their religion and their ethnical morals. With advanced technology, we are yet to discover many more things.
