It’s a devastating problem for many people across the globe in the modern era, but what about the 1500s? Romeo and Juliet both experienced first-hand degrees of mental issues during their lifespan. Juliet also experiences certain mental ultimatums that disables her ability to think properly, In Romeo and Juliet, Juliet often struggles to comprehend herself. She always had a plan b, suicide, and was very anti-social to everyone else but Romeo. Juliet’s mental disorder also caused her death. Juliet suffered from anti-social and conduct disorder. Unable to conduct herself properly and be secluded from society led to a deep depression. In all, Romeo and Juliet both brought this death upon themselves because of their mental illnesses. Some might say that Romeo and Juliet never had mental illnesses, they were just acting like everyone else. It might have been common to have these types of feelings and act irrationally. In Romeo and Juliet, they both acted similarly, which proves that they might have both acted the same way everyone else. However Romeo and Juliet are the only ones in the entire play who have threatened to kill themselves. They are the only two people in the play who go through with killing themselves. In the end, Romeo and Juliet killed themselves, mostly off of their mental health being so bad. In conclusion, Romeo and Juliet suffered many problems throughout their lives. One key
