1. Introduction
Ethics is fundamentally about the ways that people relate to each other and the responsibilities that go with those relations. This is nowhere more important when there are conflicting interests or conflicting rights between different groups of people.
One of the most common causes of conflict is over access to limited resources, a situation that unfortunately is likely to become much more common in the near future a s the world moves from a state of relative resource abundance to relative resource scarcity (and the increase in population). It is apparent that one cannot really consider either ethics or sustainability without considering the other
• Resources are limited and demand is growing
• Challenges in the sustainable use of water and sanitation lies in the inequality in the geographical distribution of freshwater resources.
• Given this cannot be helped, it is up to use to ensure we use these resources in a way to promote equality?
2. Histogram
Select one of the most important inputs to your selected topic, locate the necessary data and assemble a frequency histogram showing how this input is currently controlled across the globe, in terms of what percentage
The histogram is presented in the right form, using data from reliable sources and a methodology that appears to be correct (4 marks)
This is really about the credibility of the analysis used to produce the histogram. Various types of misunderstandings of what the graph is supposed to represent will be immediately obvious, such as a non-monotonic sequence, bins of unequal sizes, etc. Beyond that you should l...

3. EXERCISE LEADERSHIP
3.1 Uphold the reputation and trustworthiness of the practice of engineering
4. PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY
5 Is there a difference between what you think we should do personally, and what is required by the code of ethics? Why/why not?
The discussion of any difference between the author’s views and the requirements of the code of ethics gives some reasons why the personal views and the requirements of the code are different or similar and credibly generalizes this understanding to ways in which personal and professional ethics are similar, and ways in which they are different (2 marks)
To get the top band, a student needs to explain any differences in terms of the different principles involved in personal and professional ethics. Again , this requires genuine understanding of the principles involved in each case.

The long-term aim is to develop an approach to ethics that will help resolve contemporary issues regarding animals and the environment. In their classical formulations and as recently revised by animal and environmental ethicists, mainstream Kantian, utilitarian, and virtue theories have failed adequately to include either animals or the environment, or both. The result has been theoretical fragmentation and intractability, which in turn have contributed, at the practical level, to both public and private indecision, disagreement, and conflict. Immensely important are the practical issues; for instance, at the public level: the biologically unacceptable and perhaps cataclysmic current rate of species extinctions, the development or preservation of the few remaining wilderness areas, the global limitations on the sustainable distribution of the current standard of living in the developed nations, and the nonsustainability and abusiveness of today's technologically intense crop and animal farming. For individuals in their private lives, the choices include, for example: what foods to eat, what clothing to wear, modes of transportation, labor-intensive work and housing, controlling reproduction, and the distribution of basic and luxury goods. What is needed is an ethical approach that will peacefully resolve these and other quandaries, either by producing consensus or by explaining the rational and moral basis for the continuing disagreement.
“Stat Wars” is the title of Chapter 5, and it describes the process of conflicts over such social statistics. There are debates over particular numbers, data collection, and statistics and hot-button issues. Knowing the causes of bad statistics outlined in Chapter Two will help readers in such stat wars.
The data we gathered from our analysis are presented in a formal way on the following page.

There are two histograms, showing information on GPA, and showing information on final grade. Histograms are commonly used with interval or ratio level data (Corty, 2007). The data in the GPA is distributed and slightly skewed to the right, which means it has a positive skew and has a peaked distribution. The final histogram also has a leptokurtic frequency distribution, but is skewed to the left meaning this has a negative skew.

1. The Glengarry Neighbourhoods for the pHQ2011 on the histogram overall exterior housing quality percentages in 2011states the maximum percentage on the X-axis is 100 percent and the minimum percent on the X-axis is -100%. The maximum number on the Y-axis is 199 houses (-10% -0% class) and the minimum number on the y-axis is 2 houses (-90% to -80% class). As the class width along the X-axis is 50 percent divided into 5 bars. Therefore that will give us a 10 percent class width.
Ethics are the fundamental basis of human behavior. They dictate the nature of human interactions and actions in various spheres of life. Some ethical guides are prescriptive on how people should act while others are based on specific situations. While they generally remain unwritten societal morals and values, people are always exposed to learning their societal ethics that dictate the nature of human actions through socialization in various social places.
A personal code of ethics entails written ideas and beliefs that guide one on how they should behave and relate to their family, colleagues, and the society at large. My personal code of ethics act as a foundation for distinguishing good from bad deeds and assists me to determine the rightful emotions and actions to engage in. My family, friends, and the society play a major part in the development of my personal principles and values, including excellence, integrity, responsibility, ambition, respecting family, accountability, and determination. The values enable me to associate well with my family, colleagues, friends, and the society. This paper describes my personal code of ethics in detail and compares it to the United Nation’s (UN) Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the NASWA Code of Ethics.
.... The tests were all similar to one another and the results were moving as predicted. After repeating it with three different people per age group, most of the results had no big differences. The range bars were not very far apart and were closer together because of how similar the results were even before calculating the averages. This shows me my results are quite reliable because most of the data collected was alike, so they were not misinterpreted or mistakes.
Ethics is a word that can be used loosely, so it’s important to understand the meaning of this question by first discussing what is meant by personal ethics or professional ethics.

Ethics are moral principles or values that govern the conduct of an individual or a group. It is not a burden to bear, but a prudent and effective guide which furthers life and success. Ethics are important not only in business but in academics and society as well because it is an essential part of the foundation on which a civilized society is built.
Ecological theories and environmental ethics are reciprocally and dynamically linked. Inquiry into this thesis can provide epistemological and ethical insights for ecologists and environmental philosophers. First, for ecologists it clarifies that environmental ethics is not purely a normative corpus that we should adopt under the pressure of an environmental crisis. Ethical conceptions participate in the genesis and evaluation of ecological theories. Second, environmental philosophers have tended to focus on how ecological sciences could inform environmental ethics. I emphasize, in turn, that it is valuable to analyze and to discuss how ethical conceptions can and do inform ecological sciences.
[1] Ethics is defined as “the code of moral principles and values that governs the behaviour of a person or a group with respect to what is right or wrong” (Samson and Daft, 2005, p.158)
