Personal Views on Human Life and Behaviors

Introduction
The nature of human beings is dictated by several factors that include the idea of nature and nurture. I believe one of the most important factors in this case is nurture since it works concurrently with the nature in shaping someone’s personal conduct. Nurture helps to instill certain moral ideals in a person so that they are able to cope in their own surroundings. The main role I find that moral ideals take in shaping human nature is the fact that they help in creating human beings who live in accordance with societal moral ideals. Moral ideals then form ethics and ethics help in guiding our human behavior. This paper explores my own personal views on the relationship between human ethics and certain topics that have a great bearing on human life and their behavior within the society.
Location in Creation
In almost all societies across the world, human beings are regarded as important and this plays a central role in making their environment safe and hospitable. The kind of ethics that surround the great importance of human beings in the world is meta-ethics. Having learned about Meta ethics in a previous ethics class, meta- ethics ideals dictate human behavior towards themselves and others in a manner that upholds certain sanctities of life. It is important to note that there are several theories that have attempted to explain the origin of human beings, one of the most notable that I have read is the creation stories found in the Bible where it is largely believed that God created human beings in his own image and likeness. ...n choose to act altruistically in certain situations and egoistically in other situations depending on his or her ethical view of the situation. Altruism is always very distinct from loyalty where someone might act to impress people in authority to appear loyal but not because of altruism. Altruist people act by making sacrifices of their time or even possessions for the benefit of others.
Conclusion
Ethics are the fundamental basis of human behavior. They dictate the nature of human interactions and actions in various spheres of life. Some ethical guides are prescriptive on how people should act while others are based on specific situations. While they generally remain unwritten societal morals and values, people are always exposed to learning their societal ethics that dictate the nature of human actions through socialization in various social places.
