My initial response to the issues was only based on the hospital policies regarding the care of the patients within the hospital. This paper explores the legal, ethical and moral issues of three healthcare colleagues by applying the D-E-C-I-D-E model as a foundation of decision making as found in Thompson, Melia, and Boyd (2006). My own model is crafted from another model or guideline I learned briefly in my undergraduate program here at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
