The Aztecs, a nomadic tribe who in the 13th and early 15th centuries and had an empire filled with 5 to 6 million people in what is now central and southern Mexico. This civilization was the biggest force in central Mexico, and throughout the years developed a social, political, and religious. But just like every great empire in this history, there is always a tragic fall. Their religion was based on astrology and used their knowledge to help them in their day to day lives

The exact origins of the Aztec people are uncertain but from History.com we do know that they appeared in Mesoamerica during the early 13th century, which is known the south and central Mexico. The Aztec during the years built the city Tenochtitlan which is now Mexico City and had two main social classes and they were nobility or pilli, then the common people or macehualli. The Aztecs were intelligent and build temple mayor that was used to mark the seasons and help to know when to grow crops. During the 14th century they had a population of 500,00 but by the early 15th century, their population grew to 5 to 6 million people, by conquest or commerce. The empire might have continued to grow had not the Europeans arrived in 1519.
