One night for my birthday I had a sleepover party. After the girls got there we ate pizza, watched a few movies, and painted nails by the time all that was over we were bored. We all started thinking up ideas of what we could do for fun. Charity said, “what about watching more movies”. The rest of us wanted to do something else because we had already watched movies, so we all kept thinking of more ideas. The next few ideas were, riding four wheelers, man hunt, and someone even said go to bed. Then Addi said, “What if we go rolling yards?” We were all for the idea of rolling yards, but we had to convince one person. My mom and most people know she isn’t an easy person to convince to do things like this. So we all walked into the kitchen and by then she knew something was up. As we all asked if there was anything we could do to help clean up. She said,” no but you all can tell me what it is you are wanting?” We started off how we were very bored and had nothing to, and how she would be the best mom ever if she would let us do this. She was like I can’t let you what you want to do unless you tell me what it is. So we all asked, “Can we go roll yards?” We slowly waited for her to say are you girls crazy, but then we all had our minds blown when she said, “Yes”. …show more content…
We all got our supplies ready such as; toilet paper which is a must when rolling yards, flash lights because it was dark, and black clothing so people couldn’t see us. We packed all our stuff in the car we were all set for rolling yards. We had to decide whose house we were going to roll first. We picked my Aunt Amanda’s house because it was the closest, and we knew she wasn’t home. When we arrived at her house we checked and made sure she wasn’t home. We got our stuff out of the car and got to work. I swear I think we rolled her house for at least an

The 1920’s were the singularly most influential years of farming in our country. The loss of farms following the war, and new agricultural practices resulted in the dawn of modern agriculture in our country. The shift from small family to big corporation during this time is now the basis for how our society deals with food today. Traditional farming in the 1920’s underwent a series of massive transitions following WWI as the number of farms decreased and the size of farms increased.
The debate on artificial turf continues to rage on. Artificial turf has been structurally designed to be a safer surface than grass and to be unaffected by weather. Have engineers succeeded in their goal? It has been said that artificial turf has different properties than grass, and when forces act upon it, artificial turf reacts differently and causes more injuries. I have played the majority of my sports on artificial turf over the last couple years. I have always wondered if the artificial turf has any effect on injuries. Obviously I want to play on the safest surface possible. Is artificial turf that surface? This paper will answer the research question: In what ways does artificial turf affect player injuries?
John Deere was an American blacksmith and manufacturer who founded Deere and Company. Deere and Company has become one of the largest and leading agricultural and construction equipment manufacturers in the world. John Deere invented the first commercially successful steel plow in 1837, which began his timeline of success. I selected this individual because I am amazed by his accomplishments that changed “the face of agriculture for all time” (Our Company). “In 1837, John Deere, blacksmith and inventor, had little more than a blacksmith shop, a piece of discarded polished steel, and an idea that would help farmers, changing the face of agriculture for all time” (Our Company).

This news article addresses the issue of the mass amount of kids in jail and who is most likely to be in jail. When it was time to pick throwing partners, Sid and I were like magnets and found each other in less than a second. We started to throw the neon yellow ball to each other for a boring fifteen minutes and began the dreaded small talk. “How has your spring break been treating you?” I asked. “Good,” she answered. I could tell she wasn’t going to ask me, so I screamed “Mine has been amazing,¨ If only I knew that in fifteen minutes my life would take a turn for the worse.
One day Leroy took Tommy and me to the library. Personally, I wouldn't have gone if he hadn't said he had something fun in mind, yet I can not say the same for Tommy I have a feeling Leroy didn't even invite him he probably tagged along because if he saw a person walk off a cliff he would join right in which is why we had to keep a child leash on him until he was 10 and he just turned ten, we had to use the leash on him yesterday! Getting back on topic now, we showed up to the library at about 4:45 and the library closes at 5 so I couldn't be sure but I thought I knew what we were going to do. As we walked in the huge oak doors just past the ferris marble lions in the front of the steps Leroy told us to be quite which to me was kind of a dhu moment because it was a library but if I were right about my hunch then we would need to sneak past the librarians desk, and that was exactly what we did. Leroy clearly didn't want any books and even Tommy could see that. The plan was to some how stay in the library and have it all to ourselves overnight, it's not like our parents would

Tractors: From Then to Now “The farm implement industry has profoundly shaped both American agriculture and the national economy. Of all farm implements, the tractor has had the greatest impact on rural life” (Robert C. Williams, qtd. in Olmstead). To understand the history of the John Deere company, one must know its origin, development, and its impact on the farming community.
He we go. Just me and myself now. I can write whatever I want and Mrs. Wesbecher can’t read it. To this point I have wrote about a lot of fun things I have done throughout high school, but that was just the PG version. Sophomore year is when things really began to heat up. One day over at Alex’s we found the key to his parents liquor cabinet. We did exactly what 15 year old guys would do, took some sips and wow did we think we were badasses. Looking back opening the cabinet taking a few sips and locking it back up really quick was quite comical. One night during Sophomore year it was Alex, Cal, and I, Alex drank a lot and we started to walk around town (no license yet). We walked around town for a long time with Alex’s sloppy ass. After a while
Developing a Marketing Strategy for Robotic Lawn Mower “There is only one winning strategy. It is to carefully define the target market and direct a superior offering to that target market,” said marketing consultant and professor, Philip Kotler. In order to establish his self-propelled robotic lawn mower, the entrepreneur must figure out his target market and what benefits those customers seek so he can position his innovation in that target market. In order to develop a marketing strategy for the robotic lawn mower, the entrepreneur needs to use market segmentation and target marketing to define the target market and create an effective positioning strategy.
The new robotic lawn mower can implement techniques such as market targeting and market segmentation into its marketing plan in order to see larger number of sales. Target marketing represents a departure from the previously preferred method of marketing. As opposed to scattering their marketing efforts, sometimes known as the shotgun approach, marketers have found more success by locating and concentrating efforts on buyers who have a greater interest in the value they create. After targeted, market segmentation divides the market into smaller segments of buyers with distinct needs, characteristics, or behaviors that might require separate marketing strategies. The self-propelled lawn mower should use income segmentation and psychographic
If the regular room was busy, we had to watch the children in the kitchen. In the kitchen, there was a refrigerator filled with buckets of ice cream. The children would go crazy for one scoop of ice cream. As soon as they arrived, they would beg for ice cream. I had to decide whether it was appropriate or not to allow the children to have a cup of ice cream.
“Come on, do it!” my aunt exclaimed at me the day before our trip to the amusement park. My family would always take a trip to an amusement park every other summer. I was always scared about going on the roller coasters. So one day before the trip, my aunt wanted to push me and my sister to do something new through a bet. The bet was that I had to chose one ride or the other ride but I had to choose one. My sister chose the one I didn’t choose so we both had to go on separate rides. Then the one day came and my sister, me, my cousin and my aunt drove to the amusement park building up the anticipation each minute in the car.
