Besides, internship is a great opportunity to build important network that advances your career life and apply what you learned from school into the real business world. Therefore, you could compare the potential differences between theory and reality to pinpoint ideal future careers more accurately.
Experience and Learnings During the past eight months, I worked in an escrow company as a General Operations Manager in Los Angeles. Different from other general operations managers, my job has its unique responsibilities due to the escrow industry properties. One of my main work duties is to

Before this internship, I believe the most important aspect of a general operation manager is the professional work background and ability or skills such as data analysis or data mining because managers need to know how to convert raw data into useful information for smarter decisions. However, this job makes me reconsider about the importance of a middle person, which means how to create better communication environment and opportunities among different departments and deal with problems from a whole perspective. With a better comprehension about my job details, I would definitely march towards a rapid self-improvement path and add greater value to my
When I began the internship, my motive was to do something worthwhile, learn and have fun. Those jobs made me feel grown up; gave me a semblance of control over my life. But I ended up getting so much more that I
This reflection paper is divided into five main sections. The first section gives a general introduction of internship that I was doing during my internship period. The second section provides an overview of the internship practice and tasks that I was assigned to do. The third section is about the office technologies I used during the internship. The fourth section is about the benefits of the RCBC Paralegal Program courses taken as applied to the work that I performed. The final section is devoted to the knowledge and experience that I gained during the course of internship.
It all began when my tutor informed us that we have to find our work
An internship defined as a formal program to provide practical experience for beginners in an occupation or profession. It’s easy to learn about something in the classroom and take a test on it and move on; but when you actually do the work in the real life, you see that you do not understanding all and how much more you need to learn first. My internship was at ArroGen Advance Forensics; and the internship gave me a lot more than just experience. While I was there I performed many different tasks and learned lots of skills.
Work Experience: What I learned from working is that I am always told what to do. I am always order to do something. I did not enjoy that experience that is why I left.
I had worked mainly as a server prior, and though I had watched family in management, I had little insight into office environments. Additionally, most servers with whom I worked were eager and excited to do their jobs. Living wages depended on it. Government positions seem to be filled with less vigor, though I am not sure if the candidates or work environment are responsible. Many servers worked their jobs with no intentions of making it a career, while many working for the government have satisfactorily achieved what they sought. A humbling experience, this internship has prepared me for the next step in life. I am relieved for the transition period between studying and doing, and am doubtlessly convinced I am making the right choices for my
When the economy is doing well, more accounting jobs are available. As the economy declines, so do the accounting job opportunities. With fewer jobs being available, it will be that much more important for me to have qualities that help me to stand out. By taking part in an internship, it allows me to gain experience that other applicants may not have.

How did your internship and this course affect your career aspirations? Do you have a better understanding of your future career or field? What questions do you now have about the field or how to attain your career goals?
The quarter has finally come to an end, and with that, I close out my internship and this class that went along with it. It was a great experience and I leave equipped with a new set of skills that are preparing me for the world ahead. As I write this reflection paper, I think back to the very first week when I set up two goals for myself to focus on and hope to achieve throughout the following weeks. My first goal was to develop a better understanding of myself within the work place, and my second was to develop a strong network to jumpstart my career. Both of my goals were achieved, however, I don’t feel that either of my goals will ever be complete. I believe that you can always formulate a better understanding of yourself, and you can always network to develop a stronger tree of connections. I know for a fact, however, that I reached satisfaction with both of my goals at this internship at MKI and know whole-heartedly that I did everything in my power to exhaust my resources in
