The Stories Behind Lotte Reiniger’s The Adventures of Prince Achmed The word “animation” defines as the technique of photographic successive drawings to create an illusion of movement, bringing a sense of life and vigor. Animation is usually associated with a sequence of drawings, bringing fluidity and character to a sketch. The same is said to miniature models, by the use of stop-motion; but what about cutouts?
Well renounced animation studios of today, Walt Disney, Warner brothers, and Famous Studios all used children cartoons to explicitly display this effort of anti-Japanese sentiment.
Over the Years Japan has changed its outlook on women drastically. It has varied in how it views women, and how it treats them. Recent times have seen a restrictions on the equality of women, and a shared male dominated tatemae that permeates all aspects of the Japanese culture. But that doesn't stop the Japanese from continuing to question that status quo, and creative works that push the boundaries are created all the time. Japan’s imagination, to create Anime and films that question the traditional social hierarchy and gender boundaries, identifies Japan to be the hidden(if slightly censored) artists of the world. Constantly creating new works that question and branch off from the social norms of the rest of the world.
Hayao Miyazaki’s body of work reflects how commercial animation can be mesmerizing, inspiring and empowering even without the use of the usual formula for animation that we see in most commercial animated features.
Anime, or Japanese animation, is a style of animation most recognizable by characters with large eyes and beautifully detailed backgrounds. Once people watch anime, they will find besides spectacular animation, anime has complex characters and deep stories, many of which teach morals and values. And the definition of animation is the making of movies by filming a sequence of slightly varying drawings or models so that they appear to move and change when the sequence is shown.” (par. 1)

There are many different kinds of entertainment offering on the Internet, such as video games. Some of the students get addicted to these entertainments, and they no longer try as hard as they used to try in their study. Lee Kem in his article “Games Addicted Students” states that 65% of girls and 85% of boys are game players, and one of the eight game players get addiction (para.8). Apparently, many students spend a lot of time in playing online games rather than studying. They may initially play games during leisure time, but gradually, their immature mind causes them to play games unintentionally regardless day and night. Kem further establishes his idea that many college students typically prefer playing games rather than spending time on their academics (para.9). Since high school life and college life are entirely different, many students do not adapt to this transition. They feel that college life is cruel, so they want to escape from the real world and enjoy staying in the network world. Consequently, coll...

Someone is seriously going to get hurt or worse. Turn on a television set and pick a channel at random; the odds are better than fifty-fifty that the program will expose children to violent material. Naturally kids are attracted to things that captures their attention. What was a major contribution to a fun childhood? Cartoons! Cartoons are very fun to watch and learn from. However, there is something that all cartoons have in common and that is hilarious violence.

However, an expert, Jack Flanagan believes video games have a really negative effect on a person’s life and even for children. Jack states that video game addiction exists, and can have the same effects as drugs and alcohol (Netzley 36-37). This shows that video game addiction can be like other addictions
