Hard times were among everyone involved in the holocaust in Nineteen Thirty-Three. The cruel actions of Hitler ruined too many lives and tore a great amount of families apart. Frank Foley was a hero to say the least and everyone agreed. Along with many other heroes from the past, he muffled the cries of so many innocent people. Francis Foley was born on November 24th, 1884 in Highbridge, Somerset. He was the third son of three kids. He also had a sweet wife named Kay. He was a World War 1 Veteran as well as a British secret service agent. Frank was looked up to by many, “He took a stance against evil. He knew the dire consequences were he to get caught. He saved the lives of many thousands of European Jews and ensured they could travel safely out of the clutches of Hitler’s killers.” The fact that the majority of people looked up to Frank Foley shows what kind of person he truly was.
