Career planning is an important part of learning as it allows an individual to prepare for the possible future direction in the corporate world. As a result, learners should understand and prepare adequately for their future careers. There are various technological careers in relation to computer systems that appeal to my future. Most of these careers have emerged due to technological advancements that have introduced new demands for organizations. In this case, I am interested in a career in computer systems administration. Therefore, I intend to start my future professional career as a computer systems administrator.

This position also requires the basic network competencies. This is because computer analyst should be able to perform an analysis of computer systems and determine the possible risks. Whereas a computer systems administrator focuses on maintaining computer systems and servers, an information security analyst emphasizes on the security of the system. One needs to think about the things that interest them and what kind of lifestyle they want to have. Some things a person should think about are what qualifications are needed, what type of training is necessary, and the future need of the career they choose. Some other things to consider would be how much money they will make, what is the probability of advancement, and does the career satisfy their need for an enjoyable life.
