the house look clean and inhabitable. Therefore, women should not look distressed or disturbed further because their rescuer is here making them work with a lot of happiness just like in the advert. The Clorox bleach energy combined with theirs in the process of scouring leaves the intended surface sparkling clean and disinfected. He is laughing with his little child who is lying down facing him. The baby is wearing bright clothes too. On the far end of the figure is a happy child also lying sideways facing the man. The clothes of that child on the far end are also somehow reflecting light that encounters them. With Clorox logo on the front side of the picture, it is obvious that all the happiness of the man’s face and the other two children are due to the use of its product in cleaning their clothes. The targeted audiences include the young and the old. It is so because the happiness expressed by the three of them is equally the same meaning the results by Clorox do not only relate a section of people in our society. Therefore, at the end of it all in using the Clorox products to clean our clothes the results perplex us and leave us smiling all the daylong. There are many similarities in these figures. The two pictures portray a notion that if one needs a healthier house and a happier home then they should use Clorox products to do their

From the early nineteenth century this was coupled with dirt or filth, to rationalise contamination and disease causation (Jenner, 2004, p.286; Nutton, 1990). Much as the removal of both bad air and filth have gone hand in hand long before the sixteenth century, it was for quite some time an regular preventative endeavour which was often left only to combat rather than prevent disease (Cipolla, 1992, p.10; Jenner, 2004,p.286; Source Book. 1, 6.1).
