Choosing Adoption over Abortion
People should choose adoption over abortion. Abortion, to me, is murder that is based on one’s selfishness. Google defines abortion as: deliberate termination of human pregnancy. Pregnancy is carrying a child, or in other words carrying another human. Last I checked, terminating or bringing an end to a human life for selfish reasons is considered murder when done deliberately, and it should be stopped. Abortion is a nice way of saying to murder the unborn child. When people have a pregnancy that was a mistake they look at abortion as there way out. But what they don’t realize is that there pregnancy wasn’t a mistake at all God has a plan and that baby was part of the plan just without their knowledge. So instead of doing something that would help the child, they just help themselves and choose to abort. When people are faced with this decision then they make the choice of abortion, and I get it people make bad decisions sometimes, but other things come into play when making
In the world today 50% of single women that accidentally get pregnant keep the child, 35% get an abortion, 14% end up with miscarriage and less than 1% choose the adoption route.1 in 10 people have infertility problems. Since women in america choose to have an abortion rather than put their child up for adoption a lot of couples have to go to out of country agencies which is a longer process and cost them a lot of money, so if the couple doesn’t have enough money to go through the process and be able to provide for the child then they can’t be a parent like they want to be. With america today there are more opportunities for adoption. Even single people want to be parents because they feel like they have made themselves successful and that they want to start a family, but they don’t have a partner to share the luxury
How would you feel if someone took away your ability to live and have a future? You wouldn't have the opportunity to crawl, take your first step, have your first kiss, or experience those butterflies in your stomach at the sight of first love. Millions of special moments, a life, shredded to pieces. This is essentially what abortion does. Abortion is not the answer in the case of an unplanned pregnancy and needs to be stopped! First of all, abortion is a type of unnecessary murder that occurs in inhumane ways and cannot be tolerated. Moreover, there are alternatives to abortion and many families who are looking to adopt. Lastly, the side effects of abortion can cause life threatening health risks to the mother. Excuses will always be made, but the bottom line is that abortion is not acceptable and should be stopped.
Some people who are for abortion say that the baby can be put up for adoption. While they can be, there are already four hundred thousand children up for adoption in the United States of America. Only, one fourth of those kids are waiting
Abortion refers to the termination of one’s pregnancy, resulting in the removal of one’s fetus to prevent it from being born. While the concept is simple enough, the crux of the argument lies in the morality of this procedure and whether or not a woman should be allowed to sacrifice a fetus to better her own life. Abortion must continue to be legalized in order to ensure that women have that choice.
Parents have the tendency to overlook how lucky they are to have had the ability to create their own children. Many do not recognize what a true blessing it is to have kids, and that others are not fortunate enough to experience that miracle. Ten percent of couples endure infertility (Advantages) so they must consider other options. A very popular choice is adoption. It is not only a good alternative for the couple, but also for the child who needs a loving home.
“Pro choice is not set on abortion” (head, 2015, para.20); the movement focuses on the choice the parents believe will give their child the best opportunity. Adoption should always be considered before the abortion which the article does not include. Many women who do have health issues and cannot have children try to adopt, yet the process is long and tiring. While attempting to adopt a couple may overcome the issue of not finding a proper set of parents who they personally enjoy to be the birth parents of the child they are wanting to receive. If a healthy pregnant woman fits the criteria of a family looking to adopt, then she should try to consider that option if she was looking to abort

Many women who carry unexpected or unwanted children are left to decide between keeping the child, adoption, abortion and maybe foster care. Most of the time the decision is just between adoption and abortion. In that case, the mother is losing the child either way. Most of the time choosing adoption or foster care would be a better choice than abortion because the pregnancy would end by giving life instead of death. Adoption and foster care are an opportunity for people who wish to be parents, but are not able to have a child of their own to finally become parents or people who have children of their own, but want to add-on to their family.
There are many limitations valued when it comes to the right of abortion. The news media still outlines the pros and cons of anti-abortion rights in certain-states-to soon, the entire country. Through this current issue, majority of the people against abortion do not seem to have an open mind to how much it primarily affects the decision of the mother amongst her own views of considering abortion.
Adoption is always an option, and a much better alternative to murder. Yes, a woman does have a choice, but there is always one morally right way to go when considering an abortion, and it is simply to just not have one.... ... middle of paper ... ... “In everyday life, men and women make decisions that affect the life and death of existing people.
There are so many families that are not able to have their own children, but adoption is a great way for child loving families to have the opportunity to raise and bond with children in need of parents. Since there are so many families wanting to adopt a child, there is no reason anyone can fairly say that a child could ever be unwanted. In 2011 a total of “730,322 abortions were reported to Centers for Disease Control” and only 9,319 children were adopted. Adoptions are always great for children and safe for them as well. Background checks and extensive research is always mandatory before child services allow adults to adopt, and when they are clear to make an adoption, a child’s life is changed and in most cases they are saved. It is a mystery why anyone would choose death over life and abortion over adoption. To abort a baby is to not only take the child’s opportunity at life away, but to also take away another family’s chance at having their own
When it comes to abortion there is always much hostility when discussing the topic. Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. This procedure often done when 28 weeks pregnant. Many people consider abortion to be cruel and an act of murder. Although some will advocate for abortions, those who have religious beliefs will say that no one but God has the right to take someone’s life. Those who support abortion do not consider an unborn child a human that should be protected. The issue of abortion is very difficult when determining if it’s right or wrong. Therefore, I am going to give my philosophical argument from the “pro-life” perspective.
When a couple or individual decides to adopt a child, they know they are going to take on the responsibility of taking care of someone else’s child. Due to the biological parent(s) who can’t take care of that child anymore, because of either drug abuse, alcohol abuse, abuse to the child or if the parent(s) had died and there is no other care for the child. So that’s why this gives other couples who cannot have kids, the opportunity to promise themselves to be a great parent to a child in need. Though there are some bad things about adoption as well. Like adopting a child from another country of another race, because once that child is adopted into an American family, he or she will be cut off from their culture and never know about their history.
