I would love to serve as our chapter’s PR Chairman so that the UT community and the National Phi Mu community will become more aware of the great things our chapter has accomplished. As a public relations major, I learned many valuable skills in positive publicity, creating press releases, and interacting with the media due to my course work. Additionally, I recently completed a Media Relations internship with Metro Drug Coalition, a nonprofit in Knoxville. This experience gave me the opportunity to apply the skills I have learned in the classroom to the real world. I was constantly producing press releases, blog posts, and social media to publicize the great things happening at MDC, and I would love to continue to do this for our chapter. I have a few ideas for improvements to this position that would greatly benefit our chapter. …show more content…
This could include stories and pictures from our philanthropy events, welcoming our new pledge class, recognizing sisters who land a new internship, acknowledging 4.0 GPA, etc. I would also like improve our reputation in the UT community by creating a strong relationship with the Panhellenic PR Chairman and the school newspaper so that our events could be made more public. I believe this position has great importance in upholding our reputation that we have worked so hard to build, and I would love to use my strengths in this position. I would love to help improve the bonds within our chapter by serving as Sisterhood Development Chairman. This position is so important because it provides opportunities for the girls in our chapter to make meaningful relationships with girls outside of their friend group. It would be such a pleasure to work with Hannah Whitson to plan programs that
Since a young age, I always felt inclined towards pursuing a career in the health care field; daydreaming about myself working at a clinic or hospital and making a positive impact on someone’s life. When I started college, I decided to major in Biology and explored the different career options the health field had to offer me by shadowing dietitians, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare workers to find my ideal job.
During the interview, the Physical Therapist I conferred with was very thorough and straightforward in his responses to the questions that were given. I decided to interview another one of my mother’s fellow co-workers, Mr. Stephen Chan, considering his new experiences in the Physical Therapy field. I met with Mr. Stephen Chan at the Kaiser Permanente Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic that is located in Union City. The essential subject matters that we discussed consisted of his Major and Minor in college, the Residency Program that he takes part in, variations of attitudes, and advantages in the workforce.

by creating persuasive flyers and posters throughout the school and placing them at various areas on campus. If I were selected to be on the decorations and publicity committee, I would use my creativity and artistic abilities to make colorful and vibrant posters that would encourage various groups and clubs on campus. I would also wear any spirit wear that is associated with the group or club that includes the group name or logo on it to help support them throughout campus. This would be a great step to promoting and supporting the important groups and clubs on campus because it shows the passion that leaders have towards encouraging and supporting the club or group. Other ways that I would support various groups and members of our school would be by setting out to become a great leader that strongly motivates and encourages people throughout campus. Making lively posters and wearing spirit wear to support the people, groups, and clubs throughout campus are the steps to promoting them throughout Cal High. I know that following through with each of these ideas are great ways to show my support and enthusiasm towards these groups on campus, but it is even more important to become a great leader and use the skills of a good leader to encourage them. This can mean just showing my enthusiasm and school spirit towards these groups and clubs in order to help support them, or it can mean informing the entire
Today i am going to talk about one of the most influential person in my life, about the person that inspires me to enter into this kinesiology major, his name is kenneth Canche’. As i said, coach Canche is a PE teacher with a masters degree in physical education, and a masters degree in chemistry. And he has been involved in the physical education programs for more than 18 years. As coach canche argued in the interview, “in all my years coaching, i have had just one bad team, and it was 5 years ago. It is the worst feeling ever because i am

I believe that I am qualified for the Outreach Committee, because I am very organized, personable and timely. I believe that it is important to get as much participation as possible in Homecoming. Last year, I served as the Vice President of my sorority and learned a variety of things that I believe make me qualified for this position. Throughout my time, I became comfortable speaking in front of a group 250 girls each week while presenting on various topics. I had to communicate with many people as I oversaw 20 committee heads, Homecoming, RAMS, and Greek Week Liaisons.
I want to be able to provide guidance and support, as well as fun opportunities such as the Freshmen Flotilla and Bedtime Stories, in order to foster a sense of community amongst students and faculty. I have noticed that many of my friends that I lived with the Honors dorm who moved to live off campus have become disconnected with the community of the Honors College, and I would love to make an impact by keeping older students involved. I hope that I will be also be able to impact USC helping make the student population grow through helping to encourage prospective students to come here and answer any questions they have that might cause hesitation or delay.
