Enrique Iglesias Enrique Iglesias was born in Spain on May 8, 1975. Enrique is the youngest of three children Iglesias is the son of popular Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, and Isabel Preysler, a well-known Madrid socialite. Growing up in Miami he started his singing career in his early teen. At the age of 20 he released his self-titled debut album. His most successful songs are "Bailamos," "Rhythm Divine," "Be With You," "Escape," "Maybe," "Don't Turn Off The Lights" and "Hero." Because of security concerns, Enrique was sent to live with father in Miami. Much of Iglesias parenting came from his nanny because of his dad’s busy touring schedule.
