As you can see below in the table, the GDP suffer huge drops from 2012 to 2015, and the economic growth shrink from 3.0 (2013) to 0.1(2014) and incredibly became negative with a -3.8 (2015)
The Brazil economic disaster is consequence of the high inflation rates, depressed confidence levels, low prices for exports goods, corruption (from the highest levels) and bad government policies.
