I was pleasantly surprised by the end of the book. It didn't have the twists and turns the beginning of the book had, but it was actually interesting. It was interesting to see how the Kitum cave and areas near that were explored. Richard Preston, three of his coworkers, and two of his childhood friends decided to go look more into the Marbug and go to wear it was first contracted by Charles Monet. I wasn't surprised that Richard Preston and his coworkers went to look around where the Disease was first contracted, as they are paid to find out more about the disease, but why would two of his childhood friends go along. Who voluntarily goes to an area where Ebola has been contracted from. His two childhood friends are putting
what kinda sucked about it is that they dragged out to the end. which made you know what's going to happen when ending came. that's why it was so dull cause I was on the last page and Sam still hasn't been killed yet so I knew right away what was going to happen. Recommendations: I would recommend this if you want to study the sight affects of the war.
The ending of this book was a cliffhanger. In my opinion that is the worse kind of ending, but that’s how that writing persuades the reader to get the next book in the series. Without giving too much away about the end of the story, it was very unexpected. To be
I did not like the ending of the story. I found that the ending was very predictable and anticlimactic, especially when all the tension was being built up throughout the rest of the book. When I was nearing the end of the book I was already starting to envision the ending of the book and when I got to the end I was disappointed to see that I was correct. I would have preferred if the ending was more of a cliff-hanger and ended completely different than anyone would have expected.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel because it connected the dots on how the Narnia series started. I would definitely choose another book by this author because he makes fictional stories that you cans apply to biblical aspects. I liked the fact that the story connected with the others in the series. I did not like how some spots in the plot were dry and not pertaining to the story. I would recommend this novel to anyone who is a fan of the Narnia series.
My overall opinion of this book is good I really liked it and recommend it to anyone. It is a good book to read and it keep you interested throughout the whole book.
I think that overall the book was an amazing book. It drew me in the entire time and I could not put it down because of that. If any part started to get boring something insane would happen to make it interesting. For example in one part of the book it starts to get a little bit slow because it just talks about search methods a group of Bzrk members were using. Then suddenly a fake swat team busts into the house and kills everyone inside besides one child who ends killing almost all of the fake swat team. Another example was that a girl was sitting on the beach counting and kept counting for a while. Then suddenly she gets kidnapped and brought aboard a ship that is full of crazy people. Those are just some the things that happen throughout the book that keep interested on every page.
I think my favorite thing about this novel was the realistic ending. Some books try to just give you a fairy tale but this book had an ending that mad you think in the end if I was in the same position would I do the same thing. I didn’t like the fact that the novel portrayed mental illness in a way to say that it needed to be hidden and protected. I thought this novel was very believable for the time period that it was set in. I think the ending to this novel was perfect it was an accurate ending to this
While I liked the idea of a council from nature debating over human life; the end of the book ruins the story. Having a snake scare an enemy soldier and have Arthur's men take as a sign of war is just a sad denouement for such a brilliant writer to make as an ending of a sure fire award winner.
Although I liked the flow of action in this novel, a large number of superfluous characters are introduced in the first part of the book that never get fully fleshed out. Some of the characters more integral to the story also seemed a little shallow in their presentation.
What I did not like about this book was all of the wasted space and time. The book itself had a really good story but could have been told much better. I found that after the problem was stated at the start of the book it all just turned into Terry going after the same useless leads over and over again. The author could have left all of that out of the book and it would have been much more exciting instead of getting the feeling of dragging on until near the end when it picks up again.
book I was greatly troubled by its ending. I can see why it is an excellent novel, but at
I was surprised by this book because it wasn’t as colorful as the other work he has written or worked on and that just took be by surprise. It was just lot of whites and organ coloring with maybe a pock of green and pink here and there, but I like books that have lots of color in them and this was not that kind of book. I also didn’t like the story line in this book like I do with his other books some of them have a funny element to them, but this one was just seem to not have those funny
The various twists and turns woven into the story kept me guessing at what would happen next. Also, the vivid descriptions of the characters and settings made it easy to visualize the story. The only problem I had with the book was the amount of military terminology that was used. I was unfamiliar with most of the terms and the author only explained what some of it meant.
