Many kids are growing up having to face an obesity issue, a problem that stops them from being kids. While healthy kids are out playing, and running these kids are on the benches watching them play because running could be fatal in their case. The problem of early child obesity is a lot more serious than we think. For example, it can result in many deadly health diseases. In addition, the health risks are only increasing with time, and many of them are incurable just treatable. If this health issue is not dealt with immediately a lot of children will miss out on their childhood, and their lifespan will be cut short.

For example, our new hypnotizing technology, fast food restaurants, and comfortable, lazy lifestyle, all made it easier for us to collect this pounds. We have all become glued to phone’s, I pad’s, and TV screens that we don’t bother to exercise our bodies anymore. As for our healthy diets, well we’ve changed them to greasy fast foods because they’re cheap, delicious, and easily accessible to us. For many hard working people who spend up to eight hours or more at work, they focus so much on their desk paper work that they forget about their own health. That’s the daily life for many Americans; they sit for eight hours straight working, then head home, stop by a fast food place, and go home only to sit, watch TV and finally sleep. Their developing systems are more prone to diseases such as, heart disease, strokes, and even cancer. Not only is their physical health being attacked but so is their mental health. An example of that is, bullying, and the idolized body images displayed by the media. Likewise, obese teens tend to be bullied do to their stigmatized body form, and that attack makes these teens prone to depression. On the other hand, we have the media body shaming these obese kids as well, and that could result in eating disorders, depression, anxiety, etc. Therefore, obese kids face greater health, social, and emotional
