Priel The Faith Of Anne Frank By Mayson James Coates Anne’s Faith Anne Frank was a teenage Jewish girl in the 1940s, Annelies Frank (Anne) throughout the story would continue Jewish practices knowing that her faith was the reason she was trapped in the annex. Anne's faith greatly influenced her actions and aided her motivation whilst hiding in the annex, despite the fact that her faith was the reason she was trapped in the annex and forced into hiding Anne maintained a strong trust in the Jewish God, truly believing that he would support her through the annex’s hardships and the war. Anne’s complete faith in God was an impressive feat for a 14 year old girl and shifted many lives of young Jewish children in the future, her faith guided her and aided her to endure the everyday struggles of the annex which made her more comfortable and was able to express herself in the annex while experimenting with what she believed and not the main liberal Jewish practices. Annes prayers would be another coping mechanism along with her diary; her prayers would help her express herself and give her a sense of control in the annex while also expanding her relationship with
